We have the Worst Defense in College Football

Bo Pelini has brought LSU the worst defense in all of college football. This man does not deserve more time and should be canned yesterday. Woodward gave him the terrible contract he has, O thought he was a good hire and still makes excuses for him, and Pelini obviously sucks arse. So who takes the fall?

O can’t ignore the obvious. I doubt we struggle on defense vs USCe but if we continue to be a disaster on defense, Bo will be sacrificed. O’s not falling on his sword for anyone.
You would have thought he learned a lesson about properly vetting a coordinator hire but apparently not.

We are the most underachieving defense in college football right now, but I’m watching two legitimately worse defenses play right now. They are UCF and Memphis. They lack talent and coaching. Total shitshow.

Yet, Woody's biggest items to fix he hasn't touched.
Bo in compliance still has supreme power. Saban made him coffee gopher but now he has complete and total control
Women's basketball thought he would have swift action to make a change at head coach.
Hasn't addressed any of the issues with infrarmark.

LSU won't be firing Bo anytime soon. We cannot afford that kind of money when we are in the hole.

You should take some time and read the Athletic Departments financials. They have plenty of cash. This year may be a loss but they can afford to pay off a mistake.

Do you know what Pelini made last year? With that, maybe Woodward has a strategy to get rid of O by letting him hire his coaches. If you think he negotiated that contract without O you are stupid.

O obviously still believes in the fire & brimstone approach creates a great defense over great technique, fundamentals & an intellectually based scheme. This explains his infatuation with Pelini & his subtle jabs at Aranda.

Unless Bo is sitting in on Zoom coaching meetings from David Reeves, Barry Odom, Bob Shoop, Mike Elko, Jon Heacock, Jim Leonhard or any other qualified defensive coordinator that has a more modern scheme than 15 years ago, nothing is going to change.

False: we are 48th in scoring defense in the country. We finished 27th last year with the “best defensive coordinator ever” in Dave Aranda.
