Can you guys complaining about this really say that you like Miles as the Head Coach?

Are you saying diapproval of the coach justifies booing?

The team as a whole is a representation of the university as a whole. You are booing LSU. No amount of analysis can change that.

You can repeat it all you want.

But I ask again. When Nick Saban kicked Damien James off the team, was he kicking LSU off the campus -- or just one player?

Yeah, just one player.

We might the only fans in the history of football to boo their UNDEFEATED team when they're winning a game.

No...not even close to being the only one. Florida fans booed Chris Leak hard in 2006 late in the game when they were putting Kentucky away to go 4-0. And then they went on to win the National Championship in convincing fashion.

LSU is not the laughing stock of the college football world. The same thing is going on here in Atlanta with UGA, and Blacksburg with VaTech, and tonight on college football live they were discussing the Red River Rivalry and hoe Texas fans have been asking all week if its time for Mack Brown to retire. Get over urself and thinking this is a problem with only LSU fans.

Add classless, trashy and backward. LSU fans have actually validated their status as the worst fans in football.

Again...totally disagree. I'm not a big fan of the booing, but some teams have fans that boo and don't even support them that well when they're not booing.

Again, LSU sent about 20,000 fans over to Vandy or whatever it was. All I know is that it looked like most of the people there were LSU fans from watching and listening on TV. So although they may be a little ridiculous at times, they support the team extremely well.

I remember Hawaii fans booing the $hit out of their QB Timmy Chang against Alabama in his junior year. And Hawaii is supposed to be one the happiest and mellowest places around. And Chang eventually broke Ty Detmer's record for the most yards passing in NCAA history...

I'm going to boo the student section as I am leaving at halftime to beat the traffic.

According to Ott, Bama was booed at BDS last year on their way to the Title.

They dared to boo Lord Saban in his house? In his home, where his children play?

Dayum.

Those are the real fans. During the dark days of Curley I went to a few road games and enjoyed being with road game Tiger fans a lot more than the home game Tiger fans. People who go to road games go because they want to SUPPORT the team. And you're a lot less likely to leave at halftime after you drove anywhere from 5 to 10 hours to get the stadium. In Baton Rouge, it's far too easy for the drunken boobirds to get in their boos, stroll out at halftime, get more shitty in the parking lot and then drive home.

I do like miles. He grads players, wins games, likes the sane fans, and is very involved in the community. I hope he wins the NC and is here for 20 more years.

I do agree with you..road games are 1000x more fun than home games because you are there with fans who want to be there and don't feel like they are owed the world. They are there to support the team and get much more into the game.

I think if the stadium cheers really loud for JJ at the start of the game it would go a long way to show how good our fans can be.

More importantly it might help JJ a bit.

Abusive. This is football. Not a bake sale.

Its a fricking game. Quit using football to validate your life. Try enjoying the game rather than letting a win or loss define you as a person.
