The same ref that stopped the fast break on shot clock violation is the same one that called the Phantom 4th foul on Simmons. LSU had the ball and control and on fast break when horn sounded for violation. I really think that one ref had a team he was pulling for

It's a shame you always have to beat the Refs AND the other team when you play in Tuscaloser.

The worst sport for officials is basketball. Seems like all of them get wrapped up in the game, like being seen and not heard, and make flamboyant motions, etc., to be noticed. You can usually count on a close game a dumbass ref making some dumbass call and drawing attention to himself. Maybe because they are too close to the fans? I don't know.

The refs were not great but they had calls and non/calls on both sides that they missed the whole game....

I was just about to post a thread asking if that was some of worst officiating you have seen in while? It was so one sided. Phantom calls. Victor a lot of times gets fouls when he was standing straight up but we couldn't get any calls on other side.

Basketball is so hard to watch with all the crappy officiating. I turn games off on a regular basis because I can't stand to watch sports on an unlevel playing field.
It is nice to beat the gumps and the refs today.

No dude. Im about as unbiased as can be when it comes to college basketball as there is. Spent my fair share with a program. Met and know a lot of refs. Today was ridiculous.

I don't care who you have met... They sucked on both sides today... Just like the A & M game... Everyone was crying about the refs.. Guess what.. Total fouls were even at 17.... And the Ft's were almost the same on both sides... Bottom line is that LSU fans ALWAYS bitch about the refs win or lose....

We had more phantom calls than I can remember today. The 4th foul on simmons still blows my mind just as the push off on victor.
