Don’t think this is true. Don’t follow or watch the sport day to day but I know the last thing Danny White wants to deal with is the bullshite that comes with that opening. No hiring men, non Summitt connections, etc. or they’ll freak out. Best case scenario for the administration is letting the program essentially die off.
Letting the “Lady Vol people” like Warlick, Jolly, etc. run the program into the ground has to be satisfying for the administration the way the freakshow LV boosters peacocked around for years. That fanbase deserves everything that’s happened to them since Summitt’s diagnosis. Total group of freakshows.

It's tough on a once proud program (UTWBB) who now knows they are stuck way behind SCarolina and also LSU.
Right now in the SEC in WBB, I see Tennessee as in the third tier with State, OMiss, and Bama. (Carolina is tops with LSU following at second in the SEC.)

I’m sure it’s tough on the freakshow WBB fans but far better for the AD as a whole. The further down the pecking order that program falls the better.
