Lol. I love Kim’s flamboyant outfits and this one would have been fire without those cheap-looking feather boas that looked like they are stapled on. Made it look like something you’d pick up off the Halloween costume clearance rack at Dollar General.

Harper should savor that handshake. When she's back in the Missouri Valley she won't have the chance.

Damn that was tense at the end. Harper is probably pissed she can’t sign anyone that Kim wants

Very sloppy win. Accept it and move on.

South Carolina won by 10 at TN

This team is dead on game 3 in less than 7 days while TN had a whole week off and we are on the road.

It was a good 15 point win, doesn't always need to be pretty offensively.

Happy Williams and HVL got their groove back in a way today after some recent struggles.

Harper is pissed Kim took Rosario from her after they though she was a done deal.

Looks like we are definitely hosting. Kim even has the leeway to do her usual downplaying the SECT, winning one or even one-and-done then resting and preparing for the Dance.

We may be tested a little in the second round but no way this team loses at home in a packed and loud PMAC.

Now who we play and how we respond in that Sweet Sixteen game will be quite interesting.

The Viking Princess! So happy for her, great game from her when we needed her most. She is one tough, gritty player. No one out hustles her.

Does UT’s Coach hate Mulkey or what? I’ve never seen the head coaches not speak after the game like we just saw? The head coach stood in line with the players and just slapped hands.

I’ve noticed her do that in previous games. She stands at the back of the line and lets the players go ahead of her. She rarely speaks to other coaches. She won’t survive there very long anyway.

Correct, people thought Del Rosario would go to Rocky Top, but Del Rosario said wanted to play for Kim when she was at Baylor. The first game she watched on tv when she came to US was Kim and Baylor and loved the way she coached.

I remember when we were worried that Nikki Caldwell would leave for her Alma mater to be Pat Summitt’s successor at Tennessee. And hey, it looked like a great hire at the time. She had built UCLA into a solid program. Just couldn’t foresee she’d be happy with just drawing her oversized paycheck.

Tennessee was doing a lot of trash talking! A lot of back story here… remember the TikTok dance mocking Angel after the SEC tournament. Then the recruitment of AD and AV…It was a bit heated after the game.

Yeah Tennessee put way too much stock in themselves after that SECT win and thought it was a way bigger deal than what it was. Kim doesn’t put stock in the SECT unless she’s playing to make the Dance and a Mulkey-coached team is never in that position.

Kim was ready to head back to Baton Rouge to rest and prepare for the dance. She didn’t give a rat’s arse about losing to Tenn in the SECT.

I can’t imagine the NCAAT selection committee will grade LSU as poorly as the AP poll has all season. I’ll be making a thread tomorrow concerning the AP poll when they undoubtedly keep us ranked far below Iowa, who also has 4 losses (and a 5th on the way when they meet Ohio St again).

I think winning at TN was big for hosting purposes. Provided they dont lose to KY/Georgia next week or lose the opening game of the SECT they are almost locked to host IMO. Lots of teams are about to beat each other other this last week and the conference tournament.
