It blows on roku. It is clearly a roku issue. I searched the internet, and apparently this is a problem across the board for roku

How many devices are connected to it? What else are you doing on the WiFi at the same time? All of that eats bandwidth.

Yeah, it's truly frustrating. Everything else on Roku that I use works flawlessly.

I can't watch it on my firestick, laptop or iPad. No idea what the deal is.
And it isn't a bandwidth issue.

Thanks for the link. Now it seems to be working just fine. This being the case, what might have been my problem?

My tablet is working fine but I did have problems with my laptop. Usually good on the tablet.

because ATT has terrible internet.
Depends on your package. They offer everything from slow DSL to high speed fiber.

WatchESPN sucks on my Roku. Everything else works great on Roku.
I have to use my AppleTV device to stream WatchESPN. It works just fine on there.

I have a roku hooked up to tv inside and a roku tv out back. No issues with either.

Sorry, don't have a clue - I can't get ESPN link to work.
I'll use the Usream & hope it continues to work.

Hasn't stopped once for me, it's all about your internet.

I second that.

It may not be the internet service. I have ATT Uverse, and have a perfect picture
on other Apple TV apps, as well as other apps on my iPad. The ESPN app, on the
other hand, freezes up occasionally, and switches from HD, initially, to a very poor
SD. The result is the same, whether on Apple TV, or on the Watch ESPN app on
my iPad.

It's definitely not an Internet issue. It's roku. Two year old problem.

Im having the same issues this year. ISP is uverse. All devices behave the same. Chromecast, phones, fire stick, fire tv, smart TVs...all stream in SD and freeze every 20-30 seconds.
All other streaming content is unaffected
