Not all of it is hating but there definitely is also hating. Grown-ups recognize both can happen at the same time in any group.

The LSU offense sucks right now. They have zero physicality on the line or from the backs. Receivers are unreliable. The QB is scared to throw past the chains. They also are led by an OC who seems to not use the talent available to him, and prefers to pigeon hole an athlete playing quarterback into a pocket passer role even after a year of him not being that type. The defense was bad against FSU, no doubt. But, the offense with LSUs talent should at least have been able to score with FSU.

Root cause #3 is we got pushed around on the lines like they were playing against middle schoolers

People including me were not happy with him because he couldn't keep the shootout going in the 4th. He stopped being patient; either left the pocket too early or gave it to the back too soon on RPO. But this is because we were reeling as awhole. He could have played better tho.

Not hate, but you have to score a ton of points to win these days. The offense is not creative or explosive with JD as QB. He cannot and will not throw the ball down field. This makes it easier to cover receivers, stop the run game, and slow down JD's ability to run. This is a fact whether you like it or not. No defense respects his ability to throw over the top of a defense and that has impacted him negatively in many games.

They dropped some early but not down the stretch when it was needed. Wilson doesn't have a history of dropping either.

Root Cause #1: when they went to 12 and 21 personnel and got big in late 3rd quarter, we stayed nickel and small.

Can one of you gurus explain this to me?

FSU had more drops than lsu. Difference was Travis opens up the field with his arm. JD plays hero ball without the results. Time to see what nuss can do.

But Jayden isn’t flashy enough so he’s hated. He’s not a great quarterback but he is a good one and he played well enough for us to win. He had very little help around him.

Incredible how controversial a take like this has become. You’re exactly right.

FSU dropped a lot of passes but made up for it by their QB pushing the ball downfield on chunk play 50/50 balls where the receiver isn’t wide open but the QB trusts them to go up and make a play.

Man up. Be a man of your word. If you don't watch, then we shouldn't see any more posts from you.

I wish the majority of the recent posters would do the same!

Wrong. Go look at Saban's history. It has happened to every coach.

If JD doesn’t trust his receivers on 50/50 balls I don’t blame him.

JD showed the inability to pickup short yardage, throw down field, and put the ball in the endzone. He also exhibited complete stupidity by taking 2 sacks in 4th down situations. Throwing up a prayer in those situations at least gives an inkling of a chance. He also sprinkled in one of those interceptions that you speak of. Keep making excuses and just enjoy the losses that will follow.

You know as well as I do this board would have shown no mercy had he done that. He would have been compared to Max Johnson against UCLA.

Can’t win a Natty with a “good” quarterback. 10-3 every year isn’t what BK is selling us on and Jayden Daniels isn’t the guy to bring us to a national championship. He’s not consistent enough and he’s too limited in several ways
