4th depending on where you look

They weren't projected to be 7-6 non conference though.

The problem is if they finish 3rd they might be 12-6 or 11-7 and that might not be enough for the tournament.

Agreed but 2 starters missed most of those games. Think about how much better we have played. We are 8-3 in conference with 2 losses to ranked teams away from home. Who would not have been happy with that coming into the year?

Selection committee don't care. A bad loss Is a bad loss. And we were at full strength when we lost to Wake Forest at home.

We are right on schedule.
13-5 will share the conference title. Small chance it wins it outright.

No disagreeing on the non-conference stuff. Nothing we can do about it now. The point is everyone would have been ecstatic about the conference record position before the season started. Now what record do we have to finish with in conference to make everyone happy?

You just don't get it do you. We should be a 3-4 loss team with all the talent we have. Instead we're looking down the barrel of 10 losses really soon. We have 4-5 more difficult games left!

No, we were supposed to go undefeated because we have the best player in NCAA BB.
This is BB where it's much harder to go undefeated.

Calm down buddy. This is college basketball. Teams will lose games they shouldn't. Look how talented Kentucky is.
We have only loss 4 or 5 games at full strength. We are probably going to make the tourney for the 2nd year in row. That's something that we haven't done much since Dale left.

We absolutely have to win these next two home games. The back to back road games with Tennessee/Arkansas after scares the hell out of me.

we just lost to the team that was picked to finish 7th

As I recall it was 4th behind UK,T@M, and Vandy. Some may have had the Tigers 3rd.
