It is a much better option than San Jose was last year. Tickets were going for like $125 in the lead up to the game because it was such a pain to get out there

fricking stupidest location for a college football national championship EVER. Actually spoke to a Clemson fan not long afterward, who had gone to the game, and all he could say was how awful the whole setup was.

I've been to Jerryworld many a times for college and pro games... that stadium feels dead. doesnt get very loud at all... The Superdome on the other hand is gonna be loud as hell. I live in dallas and even the guys on the radio wish the cowboys played in the old Cotton bowl after seeing the winter classic there. Some stadiums truly just have all shine and no substance. SUPERDOME WILL BE LITTY YO

Well, when Elton/Rosepine and Leesville said no, they had to settle for the dome.

What a dumb post

Don't feed the troll. The OP has 2 post and they are both intentionally dumb takes (such as should LSU limit CHE's touches in the NC game to decrease his workload) to elicit contrary responses.

NOLA is the very best city for these type of events because everything is within walking distance of the hotels.

Is the Superdome really the best option for what will likely be the best game of the year? It seems kind of dated and small (~75,000 capacity) for such a big-time event, especially with JerryWorld (100,000 capacity) as competition. Plus, its a little too close to home for my liking. I wouldn't want our guys to feel too comfortable going in to this.

??????

The NFL appreciates your concern and will take it under advisement.
