It certainly seemed like self-promotion. I mean, he's still a student, so why isn't he at least wearing the colors? A plain white shirt would have been better.

Then I thought, oh I get it, he's making a statement. Perhaps the idea was to show that he is thinking of this year as a "redshirt" year - as if he had an injury preventing him from playing.

So if he's got it in his mind that this is a time to heal & get stronger and better, I guess I'm okay with that.

Was he in the student section? I couldn't tell from what they had shown.

but I do take exception to his attire for the game. He knew damn good and well that he would be the only one out of 92,000 wearing a red shirt. This is pure self promotion when he should he supporting the teammates he explicitly let down by his previous selfish actions.
Oh no! his shirt is red and not purple! Yeah he's definitly not being allowed back on the team after pulling that shite.

Looked like chairback seats to me. A few people here were sitting near him so maybe they'll post his section.

When TM7 makes it back on the team. He will practice his butt off and earn his spot back because everyone that is playing his position is playing for keeps; for every game TM7 misses the other person will be improving.... Should be interesting...

Fify. Now I agree with this..

If you are trying to prove to the world including NFL scouts that you have left a certain lifestyle behind and are changing your behavior and are a good investment would you go with the Notorious BIG T-Shirt or something a little more mature and conservative.

Bright red shirt with "notorious" and a beautiful women next to him. Can't fault him for the date but the shirt reeked of self promotion and smug acknowledgement of his situation. If the guy wants back on the team, a little humility would go a long way.
Maybe something along this line in a purple and gold may have been a better choice.
