Everyone knows the situation. ESPN would prefer to continue to exploit TM which is what got the kid in trouble in the first place. Once...OK...but to show him as often as they did showed how little "class" ESPN has as a media outlet. Leave the kid alone. They don't give a $hit about him...it's all about ratings.

He dipped out early like 80% of the student body.

I honestly didn't think they showed him excessively.

Sure they showed him, but it's a pretty big story. Nothing wrong with showing him.

Same thing they did with Marvin Austin for NC in 2010.

How exactly were they "exploiting" him? What did they gain by showing him?

No different than constantly showing Archie in every Peyton or Eli game, except a little more relevant imo.

Good thing he left in the second quarter. The camera guy was pissing me off he may have only showed it on tv a few times but at the game he did it about 20 times

They showed him a lot in the first half. The worst part IMO was the ESPN bottom line info.

He could have at least sported some P&G, instead he chose a "Notorious" T-shirt.

This is an exaggeration, like I posted earlier, they showed him 4 times...

If and when that dude comes back, he'll be a man on a mission. He'll be more motivated than any time in his life. You don't know what you got till it's gone. He won't take the second chance for granted.

Yes and it was pitiful. He is no longer part of this team and should not be shown or let anywhere close to it.

Go back and re-evaluate how many chances he was given.

I was glad to see him...
He was a big part of the team last year and I for one miss seeing him in Purple and Gold.

Hope he does everything necessary to rejoin the team next year.

He will always be one of my favorite Tigers.

Glad some of you here are perfect and didn't make mistakes, especially as teenagers....

I don't have a problem with him being there, but I do take exception to his attire for the game. He knew damn good and well that he would be the only one out of 92,000 wearing a red shirt. This is pure self promotion when he should he supporting the teammates he explicitly let down by his previous selfish actions.

I ranted about it las night while drunk and have thought about it more this morning. He was out of line with his attire. We can't control how many times the cameras located him, but he made himself much more visible by his attire.

They showed him more than 3 times. We counted at least 5-6 times, most of which were just dull pap shots of him looking at the field, talking to his chick, or checking his phone. It wasn't so much that they showed him multiple times but that when they did, the camera lingered on him for much longer than necessary - especially since he wasn't doing anything remotely interesting.

They cut to him shortly after LSU's first TD also & my kid was disappointed that he wasn't clapping, cheering, or even smiling. Of course, it had to be hard for him to watch when you know he really wants to be out there playing more than anything.

He accomplishes what he wanted, attention with his bright red shirt.

I sincerely doubt that he gave much thought to the color of his shirt on gameday.

He was sitting in the row directly behind me and he wasn't left alone by fans the entire time. He left at halftime.
