Coach O has been talking a lot about a " one team" mentality and threw in the line about all pulling on the same side of the rope. Then LSU releases a hype video that is 15 seconds of that message. Do you think there was a rift within the coaching staff and players that he is trying to correct or is it just a motivational tool?

Other then the shite product he put on the field, O pulling the trigger to can him sure seems like there could have been something more there.

That's always been coach O message, going back to Ole Miss. One team one heartbeat.

But yes, there was some discontentment on the offensive side of the ball for obvious reasons.

I seem to remember hearing a story about Ensminger having to be talked down because of an exchange between Cam and Ensminger.

I'm not sure it was "division" amongst the team so much as players losing confidence in Les and Cam. Frustration was setting in. But I don't think it got to the point of division, yet.

It doesn't sound like the team was managed all that well to me. Rift or not, he is just trying to get everyone to "buy-in" and get after it. It sounds like he has organized the staff and this should help get the players organized.

I was interested to hear that in the restructuring of the staff that included BDP to ST only and Krags to Chief of Staff and again on the offense side of ball (non-coaching) to help Ensminger with game planning and in the booth.

Miles planted both Krags and BDP on the D?????

I think it was at the point where players were more concerned about their own futures and the team was not number one.

Why in the hell did miles have krags on the defense? The guy was a hell of an oc before he got sick.

Ya he basically checked Cameron for not having the balls to stand up to miles and actually run a diverse offense. And cam and miles alienated themselves from everyone else on the staff supposedly. Also Joe Alleva supposedly heard shite was about to go south in the locker room.. Divided locker room, coaches vs players , coaches vs coaches. All of the above is rumors of course but I wouldn't be suprised if it's close to the truth

You saying Kragthorpe helped out with the defense? I know he was in some kind of administrative role, but I never heard about Krags having anything to do with the defense....

Esminger had to be held back from going after Cam twice after the Ole Miss loss last year. O was the one who stopped him. He hated the fact that Cam wouldn't stand up to Les.

Krag got an administrative roll whenever the NCAA allowed that position a few years ago.

Idk how you got that krag was on defense.

I hope the results of that message don't translate here like it did at Ole Miss.
