I'd say he and Dalton Hilliard were 1 and 1A in no particular order. Faulk's performance in Tiger Stadium against Houston was one of the most phenomenal I've ever seen.

He was a great one. My all time favorite one... that I would put up against any is Dalton Hilliard. Ridley was more special too.

Definitely a great one but if I had to choose it would have to be Dalton 1 and Faulk and Alexander the Great tied for 2nd!!!!!!!!!

Not only does he own the All Time Rushing Record, but he owns 3 super bowl rings with the Patriots so uh yea he's the best!!

Maybe - he's in the discussion with Taylor, Cannon, Stovall and Alexander. Because of his all purpose efforts - he should be the next unofficial "inductee" into the LSU circle of legends - Tittle, Taylor, Cannon, Stovall and Casanova. Certainly Faulk needs to be the sixth player in that group (more so than Alexander, though I think he was the best pure runner in LSU history - smooth, like he was on rails, and Dalton Hilliard, who is one of my favorite LSU players of all time).

He once beat Houston, pretty much by himself.

Faulk is my all time favorite back but Billy Cannon was the best to play at LSU.Billy played offense and also played on defense at times.Billy would have been All-American if he just played defense.Just a gifted athelete in football and track.Billy would rather run over you than around you.He was just plain mean on the football field.

Faulk is #1 because of what he brought to the game on special teams as well as rushing. The only one else in the discussion is Cannon.

He was the best multi-threat runner for sure. I really both him & Hilliard. If Gary James wasn't so talented Hilliard maybe the all-time leader.

Cecil Collins was the best, Dalton number 2.

Alley Cat does still hold the Single game rushing record and pretty much beat ole miss by himself. But Kevin faulk was the best, followed by Alexander and Billy cannon.
