Relax...wow, didn't mean to create an emotional event.

In the WISC game we had net 126 yds rushing, and lost the TOP battle 23.x to 36.x mins. We were 2 for 10 on 3d downs. OL missed whiffed on key blocks all day, and did little to help sustain drives. Reports after the game said the same about the overall play...go back and check.

Looking back at the UF game we did play better, but I guess the fact that we couldn't get 1 yd on two plays that resulted in a L at the end of the game still sticks out in my mind...

This just confirms what we've seen all season, that our interior line is good, but our tackles are playing out of position and it hurts the whole line

Everybody always blames the offensive line, but the offensive line wasn't the problem, the problem was the unimaginative Les Miles' antiquated and very predictable offense.

This is very true. However, the recent recruiting on the O Line goes hand in hand with this offense. We recruited to a style that valued sheer size and power over athleticism and spreading the field.

Hopefully we can adjust to what Canada prefers quickly. While he certainly attacks more of the width of the field, it isn't a full-on spread, so hopefully our current guys will still be a good fit.

So it comes to offense and heart is the OL......against the best they executed at level that I don't think should rank them as the best squad in the country.

We ran on everone except bama. Also ill take the opinion of people that see the all 22 film over message board posters.

We ran for 4.3 ypc against Wisky. The second most yards per carry Wisconsin gave up all year. Its like you people refuse to actually look at the rest of picture and go on what you saw during a tv broadcast.
No oline plays well every play.

Show me the college oline that that front 7 wouldnt maul. They have 4 front 7 players with 1st round grades and 5 with at least 2nd rd grades.

Exactly. These people that get paid to analyze football and spend money buying the all 22 film of each game dont know shite because these posters see tv broadcasts.

We ran on everone without a passing game of note.

I'm sorry but the o line contributed to the horrible passing game due to poor pass protection. Also, according to many recruiting services we have some of the best o line talent in America, better than many teams we faced' dlines. So the losses we had we didn't score over 20 points and in many struggled to get into the end zone, Idk about you delusional folk but that's not very good and that's directly tied to poor o line play not just one instance of a Guice fumble. This o line lacked consistency and struggled against any decent competition we faced.
I don't want hear about your yards arguement because we couldn't run/throw when we needed to score and win and that's what matters.

You clearly dont watch other teams.

Oh the irony. Im delusional because my opinion is the same as people THAT GET PAID TO EVALUATE OLINE PLAY.
You have never once seen an all 22 film.
Your tv broadcast built opinion DOES NOT outweigh the opinion of people picking all sec teams, analysts paid to evaluate oline, or people that see all 22 film.

Of course you dont want to listen to facts. Youre one of those people that watch a tv broadcast and think you know what youre seeing. You clearly dont and the people paod to evaluate olines also think you have no clue what youre talking about.

You can point at whatever statistic you want and yes I played football in high school so my football knowledge is pretty limited. I'm no nick Saban or even a herbstriet, people who are paid to know football. That being said I know what my eyes are telling me and that was the o line crumbled in high leverage situations. The experts can say whatever they want but our o line was nowhere near the best in the country and we lost 4 games and I can directly attribute 2 losses to the o line, doesn't scream the best to me.

Sorry but they sucked against Wisconsin, Florida, and of course Bama.

I would agree with Wisconsin and Bama but I would swap Auburn with Florida. We had 23 first downs, 423 yards total offense and rushed for 4.9 ypc vs the Gators.
The UF game came down to Donte Jackson's error and turnovers. We beat UF everywhere but the scoreboard.

Who do you think has more knowledge of oline play?
You or the people at pro focus?

Who do you think watches better film?
You or pro focus?

Who do you think knows more about oline technique?
You or pro focus

Who do you think puts more time into watching college football olines?
You or pro focus?

Who do you think watches lsu football with less bias?

You or pro football.

Youre not being honest with yourself if you picked you for any of those answers.

Your tv broadcast analysis DOES NOT outweigh pro football.
We had 3 all sec olineman and a remington award finalist.

We ran for over 200 yards against Auburn at 6.9 ypc.

Cant help our players fumbling in auburn's redzone.

I'm pretty sure pro football has been terribly wrong many times. Hate to break it too u but their opinion is far from absolute fact buddy. I'm gonna stick with what my eyes are telling me and not what their math problem is telling them. You can choose to follow the latter and I'll still be ranting on TD. Enjoy 4 loss seasons and defending national media.

We had a very good interior and average to below average tackle play, that much is obvious to anyone.

You are fighting a losing battle for two reasons:

1. People think they sound smart and knowledgeable to blame the o-line for everything. They think it makes them sound like they know the game better

2. It is an easy way to protect Etling critcism

Ive never seen a fan base completely dismiss what every professional analyst says and shite on their team.

During every tv broadcast they rave about our oline yet we have multiple threads saying our line sucks.
