Fine but they ain't asking if his goal line stop was the greatest play. And yes most of these athletes are bigger, stronger and faster than they were back then and could play iron man football.

I think the "kick six" is the greatest play of all time, given the circumstances surrounding that game, and all. I would be amazed if ever topped.

I had forgotten about this, but it's down to the semifinals and in one bracket it's Bluegrass Miracle vs Billy's Run and other bracket is Jim McMahon's hail mary vs Auburn's kick six. Currently, McMahon and Bluegrass Miracle are leading.

honestly, without purple and gold glasses, i have to put the kick 6 as the greatest cfb play.
playing your hated rival whose coach lobbied for an extra second to try to win the game. there was seemingly no risk for alabama and only the chance to win the game---only to find out that not only did alabama not win (go to OT tied) but was indeed defeated on a spectacular play.

Even with the purple and gold glasses I think its the kick 6.
I would love to see Cannons run win, but it was too long ago and not everyone remembers the gravity of that game.
