It doesn't make any sense for that man to leave Vandy for LSU. He has an advantage he'll never get anywhere else and he has built something special over there. I think it would be the best hire we could possibly make but I'd also be concerned something is going on there. Is he coming over to head towards retirement and sit on his money? That seems like a serious wtf are you senile moment.

reliable have now said corbin is our next coach.

I'd be excited with this however this, to me, seems like it would be a short term hire. A few years maybe and I'm also wondering about how he'd do with scholarship limits.

I wouldn't complain though. Just seems like a short time hire given his age.

What sauces?

You can be vague. Don't have to name them, just give some descriptions of their connection.

Examples:

They are boosters.
They are players.
They are AD staff.
They are board members.

Otherwise, shut the frick up with shite like this.

If he stays at Tennessee for 1.4 mil it’s either because we didn’t offer him or because he doesn’t want to handle the pressure here and just wants to stay comfortable. Something tells me pressure is something vitello has no fear of.

Knoxville ranter. And I’d prefer Godwin.

The local radio people in Knoxville ( who are usually negative) all believe this morning that he will probably stay. We will see.

It may not make sense to you;however, Coach Corbin could easily see things differently given all things LSU Baseball has to offer.

I believe he stays in Tenn. LSU shouldn’t offer more than that for an unproven coach. Pretty simple negotiation TBH.

Hold the ropers is probably a part of it, factor in the other guys around the program that he probably wouldnt get along with and the guy who would have to hand over the keys to him and get him up to speed, i just dont think its likely.
Also, the very few real insiders on this board have hinted he isnt on the list

If hold the ropers had that much influence then Bianco would be our coach right now. Also CPM and TV seemed pretty friendly during the Super, I don’t think there’s any issue there. I do think the smoke about TV is a leverage ploy by Sexton.

They just said based on what they have heard. Vitello is getting 100% control of the program including full approval of the new stadium. Like I said, we will see.
