I’ve heard from an advisor to an incoming recruit that it’s Vitello and they are just waiting to make the announcement. I would think guys like this are likely to know because they represent guys that have to be thinking if they want to be at LSU or not.

I would think that if someone like that knew then it would already be leaked out to us. I just think it’s too soon for recruits to be in the know already.

UTe needs to understand that LSU can offer everything and more to Vitello. Greater salary, facility upgrades, talent rich state, commitment to program, you name it LSU has it.
I would love the Vitello hire. I do tend to believe that he may not be first on Woodwards list right now, though. I still think Woodward will probably make Corbin tell him no, before he goes after Vitello. I'm sure there has been some questions regarding Vitello's level of interest. It just doesn't fit Woody's MO to go after a younger up and coming coach, he has always gone after very successful seasoned coaches.

This is actually a good take I haven't heard yet. I do think that Vandy's recruiting advantage will disappear with these new legal rulings and the NIL takes effect.
