Sure does look like Ego who dove at the guys back on the ground. Obviously he was pumped and out of control and wanted to throw a block. He doesn't get the opportunity to throw a block too often so he wanted to make it count. I'm glad the refs were smart and let it slide.

Kwon made 2 serious blocks. Phenominal play by both OBJ and Kwon.

I just noticed that clip. Lucky the refs missed it.

I'm so glad I stayed and got to see that!

A buddy of mine even said "All these people leaving are going to miss something big."

Also, does this count towards LSU's ridiculous streak of having atleast 1 STs return for a Td in a season?

Of course it would count

That is what I thought too but it does not show up in the box score that way and actually may be showing up as a fumble return.

Fumble recovered for a TD and the stat line has 100 yds misc...FWIW

The announcers last night said it was like a punt but it does not show up as a KO or punt return.

You don't remember Eric Reid did this against Bama in 11? He didn't go all the way, but yeah.

Cosmicdingo, if it makes you feel any better I thought it was gonna be a safety

The opposing team can return and score whatever the offense was (possibly) going for. They were kicking a field goal, but it possibly could have been a fake for TD so we scored a TD running it back.

Another example would be a 2 point conversion. If they threw a pick and we ran it all the way back, it would have scored us 2 points.

If they would be kicking an XP after a touch down, and we block and intercept it and run it back it would be 2 points.

I hope all that made sense and someone correct me if I'm wrong.

According to Elias sports, had Beckham returned the punt for a TD, which he was one cutback away from doing, he would have become the first player in NCAA history to return a FG, punt and receive a TD pass in a single game.

I don't think the UAB players did either. Most of them just stood there and watched.

Think of all the lazy douchebags who missed this spectacular, unique, once in a lifetime play because they left early.
