Of course the running game is on fire, but it was never really in doubt. The last two games should have been a passing game workout, and they were a great opportunity for Les to let BH get a lot of reps (passing). Pitiful that the primadona receivers (DDD)couldn't do their jobs and improve the passing game. Had to keep LF in way too long against this competition to stay on top.

The whole country thinks we have no qb, once again, and it's not really Harris' fault. I know Les plays down to competition, but he needs to light a fire under this team to curbstomp some people like they should.

I know this has been beat to death, but it's time to get in domination mode or we will not go far come November.

I mean...that is pretty much what we tried to do in the 1st half this weekend

it just didn't work

which I guess could be gathered as a good thing in a way, as I'm sure they now know that they need to work a lot more on passing to get ready for the upcoming SEC schedule

I'm sure that will be the focus this week in practice

Hail Mary's don't usually have a high success rate.

I think the playcalling for the passing game leaves a lot to be desired. I think we have been really successful in the middle of the field, but for some reason, this staff always takes deeps shots downfield. Add to that the struggles that recievers are having with the droppies.

He must "play" way too much in preparation because he doesn't make sure his super talented team does their job. The team plays down, and always has, and it is a direct reflection on their coach.
You shouldn't come out of a two game "easy" stretch with the same qb questions you came in with.

Miles supporter btw, but dammit LSU should be dominating. Maybe they're saving it.

I want to know what the hell do they work on passing wise during practice. I don't see how a program as prestigous as LSU's is consistently so horrible at throwing the football. We struggle to get 100 yards passing every damn game while a team like E. Mich. and come in Tiger Stadium and put us decent numbers against our highly touted DBs.

How much of this is the Wr's fault not just in drops but in not running crisp routes. Seems they are not getting seperation on the longer go routes with man coverage. Routes are to skinny. Harris is putting the ball there for them but the lazy route is allowing the DB to remain in close enough position to either make a play or cause enough disruption for a drop or a PI call.

Seems they can run a harder post cut to get that extra step of seperation needed like the TD called back against State that Dural had

Dural with 1 on 1 coverage should have been able to beat that DB

I know he kept getting PI calls, but its kinda sad that Dural couldn't beat him to begin with

most of their complete throws and yardage were against our backup LBers

A lot - too many talented receivers to let the "stars" hold back the passing game. They have to be held accountable just like the rest of the team.

And no improvement shown in ST either - needs to change now.

See my post above. I think the reason he's not getting separation is because of how he is running his route

to be fair BH under threw a few of those so we couldn't see him run under the ball and possibly separate more from defender...doesn't matter he prob would have dropped them anyway. Sucks b/c I really like the guy but he needs to focus
