Does anyone else get tired of listening to that crusty old man continue on and on with the glorification of 'bama?
I like Danielson - he's quality, but damn is VL (a.k.a. Jabba the Verne) biased or what?

He is a joke, but it makes it more fun to observe his meltdowns when something doesn't go Bama's way or when they lose

Not at all, but when we watch the replays on Sunday after going to the games - it's difficult to swallow. Wish they could time the radio and TV broadcasts so that the gap wasn't so severe. Would like to listen to Jim Hawthorne and watch the game simultaneously.

I watching the aTm/Bama game the other day and near the end of the game it was like 3rd and maybe 8..........aTm had the ball. Verne said "this is a very interesting play call".............I swear he meant that aTm shoud kick the field goal on 3rd down while they were ahead.
I was like...."WTF is he talking about." I was hoping that I missed something.

I don't even mind when Verne says "Touchdown, Louisiana State University" or "LLLLL......SSSSSS
......UUUUUU ! I think it's kinda cool actually.
They occasionally may say something about LSU's opponent that might be construed as negative to LSU, but they also say a lot of positive as well.

Ole Verne likes the Jack Daniels. I thought he became rather depressing after Tebow left the college scene. Now Verne likes slobbing over Nick Saban's tool.
