LSU at15-1 is not that good imo. Says mediocre to me with all the so called talent we have.

Your opinion means nothing Gump.

Baylor ain't giving anyone good a run for their money...you guys just don't get it..the big 12 is god awful and got destroyed, not just best, in their bowl games.

You are right and it stems from the fact that fast paced offenses will get you beat a few times per year. Sure it is fun to watch but there may be 1 or 2 teams in all the years since Spurrier's initial teams that had a defense worth mentioning. Eventually, these offenses meet a D that can stop them a few times or they have an off game and they get beat, usually handily. In a sport where losing 1 could be everything, I can't understand why more people don't see that....

Not bad. Just goes to show that while a lot of LSU fans seem to be down on the program, the rest of the nation (and people who put money down) still view LSU as a football power.

Do you remember the odds before the month of November this past season? LSU fans should never think about any of this crap until we play in November. That's when the real season starts.

but what it does do for teams like Baylor is give them more than a fair shot at beating teams with much better talent. If a team like Baylor ran an ordinary stuck in the mud 'pro style' offense, they would just be an also ran buried at the bottom of a weak conference. They are pretty consistently ranked in the mid 30's to mid 40's over the last 6-7 years in recruiting.

wait a second. LSU is a team with a great deal of talent who runs a stuck in the mud 'pro style' offense who finds themselves buried at the bottom of a very good conference.

sorry but I really don't see the superiority of our offense scheme over Baylors offense scheme. I don't want to run their scheme or anything but really don't see where ours is superior either. What if Baylor had our talent level to work with yet ran their scheme? Would be a scary team to play.

You're obviously thinking about it right now being you've posted here. Willing to self ban yourself from this board and all LSU games in person or televised until November of every year? Being that's when anyone who's a fan should start to even think about them. Douche.

people down vote the Las Vegas Odds? can't please everyone. Wonder if they think the odds are to high or to low or don't like gambling maybe?

maybe top 3-5. Be up there in the 2nd tier with Arkansas, Ole Miss, Florida, and Tennessee. You know, just behind Alabama, in the next group.

I've read your response on the recruiting board. Your sole purpose for signing up was to go against people because they aren't pumping that high caliber sunshine.

Don't be stupid. LSU fans shouldn't be thinking about crap like odds to win a championship until November. That's where the losses are heavily piled up. That's where the shite gets real.

Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Bama are not going away.

Just saw on ESPN that 'Westgate Las Vegas superbook', has LSu, along with Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Tennessee, at 15-1 odds to win the 2016 National Championship. The only teams with better odds (in order) are Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Ohio St, and Baylor. Good to know that even Vegas considers LSU to be in the hunt next year to be one of the better teams in the country once again.

I guess they didn't get the word, Myles is still our head coach.

his point was that the main competition on our schedule is in November, so that's where we really find out what we are. Wins against the cupcakes, Auburn, and Florida are nice, but it's our late season games against Bama, Ole Miss, and Arky that tell the tale.

So he's saying don't get too excited midway through the season (like this year) because our schedule is backloaded.

Really not too hard to comprehend.
