As much as we all want that they just don't have the team to do it. Udub will be lucky to win 7 (gonna be 6 most likely) and the apple cup will actually be a game, as sad as that sounds right now considering what the cougs have done so far.

It all depends on whether we can get our O-line actually playing up to par. If we can, we could win 8 games.

I agree. Price is obviously better than his showing Saturday night. But LSU's defense has a history of making great QBs look pedestrian. Saturday night was not necessarily a discounting of his talent, but just a testimony to our D.

UW will not see a defense like that again in the Pac-12. If your O-line can get its shite together, Price will be able to do some work against the Pac-12 secondaries. If that happens, I could see UW pulling out a W against either Oregon or (preferably) fUSC.

Since LK is not allowing visiting teams to have a walk thru in the stadium the nite before a game at USC, write Sark & tell him to return the favor this yr when they come to visit. USC's first 22-25 are good but they have no depth, so hopefully they will start getting beat up & won't have a full compliment of players by the time they come to visit.
We're already the walking wounded. Lost our starting Center, Kicker (we have a walk-on doing XP's and we're going for 2 every TD now) and lost our 2nd best CB to academics. We'll still beat UW though, they were beat up even before they played y'all, and they're worse off now.

It's the PAC 12, teams are going to score. You'll need to be able to play defense as well.

After PSU you have a rough stretch. You could possibly only win 4 if things work out :prays for that : Your gonna be beat up.

Right now in conference your two easiest games are CU and Wazzu and you and I both know that rivalry game won't be the gimme the buffs will be.

Schedule....first 4 are ranked.

Stanford
@Oregon
SC
@Zona
OSU
@Cal
Utah
@CU
@Wazzu

Stanford will beat you up.
Oregons gonna frick you up for the 9th straight time.
Don't have enough to upset SC again.
Zona looks good and is gonna put up a bunch of points.
Beavers have won 7 of 8.
Never know with the bipolar Cal bears...toss up.
You won't score on Utah.
CU is your one gimme conference game.
Leach should have his team progressed by the Apple cup.

Yeah.....you fricked brah.

You have no clue as to what you say regarding an upset against Oregon.

They've won 8 straight by double digit points, and I believe all of them save 1 was by 20+. It's at Autzen.....ask the dawg fan , he'll tell you I'm right. If not then he isn't realistic.

Glad you had a great time. Wish I could have been there myself. Definitely enjoyed coming out to your neck of the woods 3 years ago when we opened with you all. Living in Montana now and was nice to get out your way. Anyway, glad you had a great time down in Baton Rouge and good luck to you and the Huskies the rest of the way. Certainly will be pulling for you all to go undefeated the rest of the way out.

If our o-line improves as I've stated already:

vs PSU: Win
vs Stanford: Toss up (Stanford is not the same and we're coming off a bye)
at Oregon: loss
vs USC: loss
at Arizona: Toss up (Will definitely be a tough game)
vs Oregon State: Win (It's at home)
at Cal: Win (It's Cal)
vs Utah: Win (at home and Utah lost their QB)
at Colorado: Win
at Wazzu: Win (Will be tough, but I'm not buying the Leach hype just yet)

It all depends on whether the o-line can give Price some time to throw and if they can block for the running backs.

I think UW beats Cal, Colorado, Portland State and maybe one or two more.

Means nothing to them as they've beaten you 7 of 8....obviously some were at your place.

I agree they aren't the same but they still have the manpower to beat you up and shove you around which doesn't help as the season goes along. It's a toss up IMO as well. We will see this weekend what they truly are.

at Arizona: Toss up (Will definitely be a tough game)

I'll side with them because I don't think it's a toss up but you can win. It comes down to how healthy you are after facing 3 good/great teams in a row. All of whom have a D line to beat you up.

quote:

at Cal: Win (It's Cal)

You just never know what you're going to get with them. Toss up IMO. They have played better so far which isn't saying a lot.

quote:

vs Utah: Win (at home and Utah lost their QB)

Myself and several other posters on the MSB thought they looked better with the backup. You'll have a hell of a time scoring on them and right now I think Utah state beats you. Loss IMO.

at Wazzu: Win (Will be tough, but I'm not buying the Leach hype just yet)

Me either but he has the whole season to work on it. Rivalry game...toss up IMO.

The Washington fans were all classy. Every single one of them. Glad they all made it down to BR for the weekend and hope they all had a good time.

Anyway, thanks for the great time guys! Hope to see you guys soon, when UW is actually good.

Love to see these kind of threads. From personal experience and what I hear from everyone else, Husky fans were about as great of a fanbase as it's possible to meet.

I wish nothing but the best for the Washington Huskies, going forward!

Ran into a bunch of UW folks in the FQ last week. Real classy group. They get it - its only a game, and go have fun.

Very well put. I wish all fan-bases could be like that.
