I remember pressing my headphones to my ears VERY hard to be able to hear old Jim & Doug. Volume turned all the way up and I could really barely hear. Awesome.

Whats the difference between a day and a night game in Tiger Stadium? At night you can smell the bourbon on the field. - Mike Archer

Death Valley and Autzen are probably the two loudest stadiums there are especially at night!

OMG you did not say the Rose Bowl is louder than Autzen. That is the most foolish statement I've seen on this board. The Rose Bowl is DEAD! If you think that's loud then wow.......you really haven't heard loud. The Rose Bowl is one of the quietest stadiums on the planet. It is so flat there is no noise. I hope you were joking.

He then said he looked down at his pant legs and said they were shaking due to the vibration of the stadium.

Yeah, that and his knees knocking together from fear.

The Rose Bowl shouldn't even be in the equation. I can't judge TS and those of you who haven't been at Autzen shouldn't judge either. All we can agree on is I'm sure we are the two loudest stadiums or close to it. That's why I wish we could get a home and home then we can experience it!

There are two different types of loud, IMO.

There's a spike- that one moment where you get a reading. (i.e. announcement of USC losing, blocked Bama field goal in 09)

Then there's continuous noise. (4th quarter UF 07) Unfortunately, TS doesn't have the continuous noise it used to.

Granted the design as to do with a lot of stadiums but Oregon fans in general are just loud. Our basketball arena (at least the old one) was one of the loudest in the country!

Yeah, that's my only beef with the Oregon noise. A lot of it is acoustics.

no one ever fricking mentioned Auzten stadium until 2 years ago, TS made an earthquake. yes a fricking earthquake. You Oregon boys might have a cutesy little thing going on up in Eugene but when it comes to being drunk, being loud, and making other teams shite their pants, There is No Equivalent to TS. (not counting shite teams lololo)

I'm thinking '07 was pretty damn loud too.
I was in the student section at that game and went temporarily deaf. I was in high school and that moment was when I knew where I defiantly wanted to go to school
