if les comes out with his same i formation bullshite with AJ as the QB next week against new mexico, I won't watch anymore games this year. I'll just be completely apathetic.

This was really my ploy to see if I could get the most up votes of any topic in the history of the rant.

Look I want us to be successful and want the best QB to play but I just think this offense isn't designed to utilize their talents. I am afraid BH will be broken in half with our pass blocking.
Without any attempt of developing either QB against the rent a wins we are pretty much fricked. Sorry just being realistic. BH will make mistakes also...and then what?

And you are quite possibly correct. I just think some of those hits can be avoided by a quicker release and quicker decision making. Harris also seems with what little we've seen so far looks way more mobile,. Who knows, I just know I don't wanna see last night again.

Offensive philosophy needs to change more than who plays QB is my only point. That won't happen so might as well throw BH to the wolves I guess.

Harris. Time for him to just take his lumps and get experience.

I agree. I want to see more of Harris, but if Miles and Cam don't change up their philosophy then LSU is fricked. This team isn't able to control the LOS and maul opponents like Miles wants. The problem is Miles WILL NOT abandon his philosophy.

I can deal with a true freshman making mistakes because he's trying to make a play. What I can't watch anymore is Jennings out there just trying to not make any mistakes. Playing scared, like Jennings does, is the worst thing that could a QB could do IMO.
I know I'm in the minority here though. Most LSU fans will bash Harris as soon as he makes his first mistake and say that he should be playing it safe.

Awesome post. But starting Harris will only make Harris the goat with an offense in chains. That'd be great but Harris isn't going to stop a team from GAINING FREAKING 600 YARDS OF OFFENSE IN 3 QUARTERS OF PLAY !!!

My breakdown of down voters:
2 trolls
2 down votes for OP for "stupid thread bro"
2 complete morons
1 guy who still thinks Mettenberger is on the team.

I believe either qb can get job done. We need to start on the offense line. We need to protect the qb. I like personally harris he looks like the more threat here

I just emailed a link to this thread to lesmiles@gmail.com. don't know if it will work, just kinda taking a shot in the dark.

The defense gave up huge plays; but by mid third quarter [or even the end of the first half], they had been on the field way too much. Having a good QB who doesn't play afraid and can move the chains does rest up a defense to be more effective.
So the two [effective QB and effective D] do have some inter-relation to one another. We need a captain of the offense. With Jennings, it appears we will never have that.
Down 7-0 with 1st and goal at the one, does anyone believe that with Harris behind center we wouldn't have figured out a way to score?

I have to believe that if our offense was showing any kind production or momentum for the defense to feed off of it might have been a different game. Obviously we don't shut them out but we are good enough on D to get some stops.

QB is part of the answer. An ineffective offense adds pressure to the defense

How many passes did Jennings bounce. Harris need to start or we will be a 500 team

the offensive line blocked for him well at times. he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

I want a RS sophomore or true Junior to be starting. Why isn't anyone like that on the roster? Why wasn't he recruited in 12? Why they wasted time with Liggins?
