10-2

Losses at Auburn and to Ole Miss. Beat the gumps solidly.

I'm of course in preseason optimism mode. I'm trying to be realistic about Fournette, but I remember how Cecil Collins looked like a man among boys his first time on an SEC field.

Well, I must admit that Hatch's subsequent success at Whatever Tech proved me wrong about his ability to lead us to an 11-1 season in 2008. Jesus, the guy was almost killed--literally--in the few minutes he played that season. Lee and Jefferson war actually better choices at QB, and that says a lot about Hatch's talent.

I thought I told you to not be retarded. It's pretty easy to say all that in hindsight.

Regardless. We have a returning QB that actually has some game experience, and a back up that is getting first team reps. We also don't have a dog shite defense. It's really nothing at all like 2008, but feel free to keep making the comparison.

And starting QB experience really seemed to hurt FSU last year.

Too bad Winston-type players only come along once in awhile. The fact that he was inexperienced, as are our two guys, has little bearing on this discussion. TALENT, ABILITY--Winston has it in a few that very few freshman QBs do.

Who knows, maybe our guys, or one of them, will be as beastly as Winston was last season. I wouldn't bet on it--but I'd be pretty damn happy if it plays out that way.

15-0. Buga scores every time he touches the ball, all season. In an unprecedented move, the Downtown Athletic Club's Heisman Trust awards him two trophies for the 2014 season!

You think with 3 losses we can call ourselves top 5?

Maybe not exactly a pre-season top 5 ranking, but people will have us at worst top 10 if we pull a 10-3 season off with a heavy dose of Buga, Dupre, Quinn, Harris, and a young defense and special teams.

Hell, we lost 2 in 2010 and we were number 3/4 for the 2011 pre-season

I think we could be 12-0 or 8-4, it really depends on how we come together as the season unfolds. If the young kids develop and the defense is as good as they should be this could be a really fun season.

10-2, losses @ Auburn and I know I'm going to get roasted for this but....wait for it....State. It's felt like my birthright to beat them every season but I can't deny how I feel ab this game this year. They actually have enough talent to compete with us right now and being the first SEC game is a big advantage for them given our inexperience at QB. They have played us stout into the 4th quarter the last 4 years and I feel like the streak finally ends this season. I will swap a September loss to State for a November win over Bama. We will be gelled and rolling going into The Swamp and after curb stomping them we won't look back. 11-2 with a big bowl win is what I forsee this season. :runs away from thread:

How is any of that relevant to this season? We were losing to them going into the 4th quarter last year. If anything the fact we've beaten them that many times in a row is working against us. You don't think their players and coaches are aware of that? Dak Prescott is a top 3 SEC QB and is going to get up for this game more than any game of the season being a LA native who wanted to come here and didn't get an offer.

LSU led by 5 at the end of the third and scored a TD ten seconds into the 4th.

I think we go 1-1 in the fla, auburn road trips.
I think we drop a suprise game somewhere in the season. Honestly i believe it will be arkansas. With inexperience in our DL and there rushing attack, along with it being away, could be a recipe for a very tough game

So you're one of those that follows the screen above the roulette wheel? "Oh guys it hasn't hit black in 5 turns so put all your money on red"

It's in fricking TS. They aren't beating us there. Bookmark it chicken little.
