9-3 with a ton of "nail-biters"

Wisc. close throughout, LSU pulls away late
MSU - LSU jumps out early. State closes to make it tight. LSU pulls away late
AU - LSU does a good job against them defensively, but AU finds a way to win late.
UF - LSU looks great early but fails to capitalize on chances to put UF away. The Gators come back to win
OM - 2nd best game of the year for LSU. One of the few LSU/OM home games in recent years that isn't close. LSU by 10+
Bama - The ONE time this season TS lives up to it's billing. Tight, tense, exciting, LSU wins late
Ark. - Big let down. Game is much closer than it should be. LSU barely hangs on.
A&M - Aggies jump all over LSU early. LSU comes back to make it tight. A&M wins late. (Think Ole Miss - 2013)

3rd in West. Bowl game against Big 10 or ACC opponent

I cannot understand the loss to Florida projections.

Their own fans don't even think they'll beat us.

The idea that Muschamp turns it all around this year is ridiculous. His team quit on him last year. They lost to Georgia Southern and their last 7. Then they make the big move to get Duke's Offensive Coordinator, when we know Cutcliffe calls the shots there.

I just can't see any reason for thinking they beat us except for recruiting and The Swamp. But to think it just magically comes together for them seems a lot less likely than another losing season with Muschamp getting tossed out of the dumpster fire.

3-5 in conference. That's the price we pay for bringing two inexperienced QB's along.

Well fellas lets pack up and go home I guess. It's been decided that LSU is the only team in history that is incapable of winning with 2 extremely talented but inexperienced qbs.

The OP asked for predictions, and there was nothing said about packing up if we lost a game this season. Were you not around for the 2008 season? Do you not remember our own recent experience with playing inexperienced QB's--and this with the defending national championship team? Predicting a 7-5 finish--and hoping for a 7-5 finish--are two entirely different things. But people who casually dismiss the importance of having experience at the QB position--especially in the SEC--are likely to have their eyes opened in a most unhappy way as the season unfolds.

I don't think they're going to be very good unfortunately.

LSU once again doesn't have a quarterback for like the 8th time in 10 years.

Win 8. Possibly 9 with a bowl game. Some fools will call that success.

But Bama will run the table and A&M will be great with their 0 experience QBs?

Some of you are laughable if you actually believe the things you say.

Do you remember our actual starting QB getting knocked out early in the season, and a historically bad defense?

ETA: And starting QB experience really seemed to hurt FSU last year.

I said last year that'd we'd split the Mississippi schools, and I'll say the same for this season. I'm really hoping it's State, as losing to Ole Miss is annoying as frick

We split the Alabama schools, and I have us losing to Auburn. We are just so due against Alabama. If our front four is as talented Les thinks it is, I really like our chances.

We split Florida and A&M. I am going to say Florida beats us in a really close one.

We beat Nebraska or Michigan on New Years, and then we call ourselves a top 5 team going into next season

14-1 season

We go undefeated and win the two games in the playoff for the national championship, but then lose a scrimmage to the Super Bowl champs.

Not losing to State. And OM at home definitely helps.

Maybe, but I think Auburn is not going to be the lucky team they were last year. And we definitely have a great shot at taking out Bama this year.

Both of these teams will be around .500 on the year IMO. Don't see us losing either.

You think with 3 losses we can call ourselves top 5?

Yeah. Losing Andrew Hatch is a blow that no college football team could recover from.

Losing the guy that took first team reps all off season and replacing him with a freshman most certainly is a big blow.

Don't be retarded.

First, I believe this is our year against Bama. Second, we will not lose back to back games against Auburn and Florida. I think we do lose one of those though. The only other game that really scares me is Arkansas, because of the timing and how close they always play us. But, after we beat Bama, I believe this team will be on a mission to finish the season. So worse scenario, 10-2. Best 11-1.
