Went to this game last night with a friend in Las Cruces, NM. There were 13 kickoffs and every one of them went into or out of the endzone. Only one brought out and kid did not make the 15 yard line. Very refreshing to watch. Still scratching my head over trying to kick to the corner like LSU does. (Listened to LSU game on my phone)

What is the altitude there cause it matters?

The 4000 ft elevation probably didn't hurt.

Watch the NFL ... they are trying the same thing now that a touchback brings the ball out to the 25.

There was a stiff south to north breeze. Didn't matter. Every kick went into or out of the end zone. But my point is just kick the dang thing deep and let them have it on the 25 like other teams do. Seems like the prudent thing to do. To me anyway.

Btw 4000' elevation may make a few yards difference but these kicks were deep.

I was gonna say the same thing....I live in Albuquerque, up river couple hundred miles and between 5 & 6 thousand above sea level and it does make a difference. See major league pitchers in Denver try to throw a curve ball and home many Homers fly out of coors field
