This has already been addressed. Do people not understand that something can be consistent yet have a more positive impact on one team than the other based on personnel and style of play?
Their pitcher was a probable first rounder and ours will probably never play competitive baseball again, so a situation that makes it harder to see the ball certainly favored them. If we were throwing Lange against their 7th-ish best pitcher, a pitcher friendly situation would favor us. This isn't very difficult to understand.
