He recruited and coached them up, cant help what happened after college. I think he will have LSU at the top of college football again. He is a grandslam hire (if it really happens) I love Les but its time for new blood. Not many schools could hire a Jimbo Fisher type of coach, and for that im thankful. Geaux Jimbeaux !!!!!!!

You mean the coach from the acc that will quite possibly have as many losses as les from the sec this year. Lil

Do you remember that auburn game with Jr...quite a game plan. Lol. Wait.. That's right...led took over for that game. Lmao.

I don't think the SEC is that much better than ACC this year

Oh so you didn't watch this game. You should watch it sometime instead of just reading the box score.

Even I could pick apart Duke secondaries while eating crab legs and forcing myself on women

You guys are setting yourselves up for yet another epic meltdown when none of this works out the way you hope.

Be realistic for a change. If Jimbo is indeed headed to BR, why not say "he should be a 9-10 win guy, and maybe we will catch fire in a bottle 1 or 2 years."

He is not Nick Saban. No one is. Jimbo and Les are too nice to be Nick Saban. Nick prefers to squeeze every ounce of life out of his players in CFB. Les' players excel on the next level disproportionately to Nick's. These coaches both have their pros and cons about them. Les' pros appear to be more long-term

You are overthinking this. Most sensible LSU fans want a change because the Offensive philosophy is stale, and there has been no QB development. We all love Les, but it is time.

I'm realistic enough to know 1 NC every 10 years is great considering the competition in the SEC. If Jimbo is a 9-3/10-2 coach, I will still be more excited as a fan to see innovation.

I'm a season ticket holder for over 35 years, and I find myself not going to many games because I don't care. A change is needed.

BBA tiger I'm with you.

But you can't tell me that the majority of LSU fans are being unrealistic about their expectations. They want change. They want it now. But they also want a NC 'on the horizon'. If Jimbo comes in, it will be 4-5 years before LSU, in the SEC, competes for a title.

My expectations are reasonable. But I would prefer the search committee go through the same process they did with Saban and Miles, rather than what they may be doing with Fisher.

And stop telling me about the Gump board. This avi comes down as soon as the season ends

That is your opinion, not fact. The odds are in your favor for it not to happen, but it could.

Four years is alot faster than the path were on now. We need someone to adlib when a opponent stops a phase of your game, dont keep doing the same thing. I love les and i will love whoever coaches the tigers.

I think you meant to say "the Ritter game". And yes, I remember the game where Ritter took 3 LSU touchdowns off the board and gifted Auburn their only score with a phantom PI call.
