All this goes into why this loss hurts so bad... The energy in the stadium and in fact it was our moment.. A Saturday night in death valley... For the way it went.. I'm just sick.

I can't even imagine what would have happened had we gotten that last first down and got three kneel-downs. We were in the SE corner too.
OMG, Death Valley would have EXPLOOOOOODED - even more than it had all night....

And guess what - MILES would have been the one praised on every sports network and talk show and highight show......

sure it hurts, but it's a reminder of why we are never jealous of Bama. They don't have what we have and never will.

Don't go that far. Man, looking at the box scores today just makes me sick. I'm proud of our team, but man, it's hard to get that close in that moment and not win.

Probably the best 3 hrs of any sporting event I've ever been at SVP Its seared into my brain

same thing happened to me one holloween nite 54 yrs ago riding in my dads car listening to WWL. as heartbreaking as satnites game was, I have never been as proud of LSU as I was after the game. it should be obvious for people who understand something more than a W or an L that something very real and very special happened. just by their presence, their will and their effort (with a hugh hand from Tiger Stadium and it's fans) LSU and Alabama helped college football ascend to another level. those two teams played not only for their schools...their teammates...and their states, they played for every human being who does not know the word quit.
