True Tiger Fans

I am the closest you can get to be a true tiger fan. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge and still live here. I graduated from LSU with 3 degrees. I went to school there for 7 years. I have followed the football team since the 80's. (I'm a young guy) With all this pride in my school, it kills me to see what has happened over the past two weeks.
I just want to say this. You do not have to attend LSU, be from Baton Rouge or Louisiana, or even contribute money to LSU to be a LSU Tiger. You simply pull for the team no matter what. You always keep faith that even if the teams are down by what seems like a insurmontable margin you still think LSU is the team that could come back from this deficit. You still cheer for it to happen even if they come up short.
Let us RALLY around our Tigers. Support this football team no matter what happens on the field. That is our team. That is our state's team. Let us show the media that we do not care what they say about us, our team or our coaches, we support LSU unconditionally. If and when this team wins every game or plays in the BCS Championship Game who will be laughing? TRUE TIGER FANS

If I see another one of these threads my eyes are going to bleed blood. Look, I went to the school, I screamed my arse off at games, and almost got kicked out for inferring Steve Spurrier had a std. Just because I think our coach is a buffoon does not make me any less of a fan.

I lose my voice and emotionally drain myself every week for this team. I love the Tigers!

good post, man. you will be vilified by some of course. get ready for insults as to your intelligence (they'll miss the 3 degree thing), heritage, lineage, mental capacity and eyesight.

I see there is a low number of replies, likely because the people who love to hate can't really disagree so they go back to beating that dead horse!

This is some of the dumbest crap I've ever read.
So in order to be a "true fan," one must be detrimentally naive to the problems with the current coaching staff?
Thanks, your post just helped all of our LSU degrees decline slightly in value.

ignorant fans cheer harder

Your negativity just helped the program out. Thanks!
You can't solve anything with the coaching staff right now. There is a time and place for everything. This isn't the time and place to talk about the coaching staff. As fans we can't do anything in the current situation except cheer for LSU. That is what True Tiger Fans understand an not the fans who leave early or boo. I consider these people casual fans whose demand for perfection only shows their lack of intelligence. Just win baby, Win!
