There is a reason why this man wore #18 for two years straight.
This is it.

Geaux Tre White! You certainly have the support of Tiger Nation for the rest of your life.

Wow! I wish I was as mature as Tredavious at 21.

The kid's got character. He'll be successful at whatever he does because of it.

God bless Mr. White and his family.

Very well-written letter. Paid attention in English class. Of course, the content is what counts and it was awesome. Good luck in the future, Tre. Hope we get more young men like you at LSU. If so, the future looks bright.

Man, an upvote is not much to give in response to that letter. I admire this guy and his values so much.

Tre, you're a leader buddy, a man amongst men. Take the rod and staff and go forth. God surely isn't finished with you pal. You have a bright future ahead of you. Lead on.

Dude is all class. Hope he has a long fruitful career in the NFL. Maybe he'll make it to my beloved Saints.

Nice to see a young man mature over the years and evolve from a mindset of "3 and out" into recognizing the value of degree for himself and as an example to his family.

I think we as a fan base tend to overhype the #18 thing but Tre has definitely showed the qualities that have become associated with wearing that number. Leadership, dedication to the program, character and academic commitment. Best of luck to him in the NFL.

Wow! Thanks for another year of excellence.

Almost brings tears to my eyes. Tre was simply stellar all year long. Should be AA.

And AlwysATgr loved this:

". . . I will forever be a LSU Tiger!"
