He reminds me a lot of Mo Claiborne. I was hoping we would see him on kickoffs. Seems like a better option than LF.

Still don't like LF returning kicks

And not because he's valuable. But just that I don't think he has really shown anything. I can get on board with White returning.

Actually not really related... They refer to each other as "God brothers". But aren't really related.

And I wouldn't mind having White on kickoffs. I'm extremely comfortable with him on punt returns, and he does a fine job back there.

He hasn't has any issues catching them so far...

He takes some risks taking the ball on a bounce or whatever, but doesn't bobble it or whatever.

I'm very comfortable with him back there... Most comfortable I've been with a punt returned since TM.

Yes. Clearly the better option. LF7 is not at all skilled at this stage. TM18 and TW10 are vastly better options. However, I am wondering if Miles made a promise to him as a way of ensuring him touches to get him to commit.

They said on the broadcast it may have been a recruiting promise. I say let him do what he wants.

Ok... While he isn't an elite return guy, he's still solid back there.

23.0 yards per return, good enough to be like 6th in the SEC, ahead of guys like Speedy Noil and Andre Debose and right behind Christian Jones. Hes a solid return man. Not the best, but he's def not bad back there like some people think he is. He's solid back there.

I was nervous about about T White on punt returns as well in the first few games, but he has been much better lately. Give him a shot with TM and let LF run the ball. Promises in recruiting have been broken before, and LF isn't going anywhere, but he is averaging 23 yards on KO returns. The average isn't horrible, but not good either.

Now for the guy that said, he would rather have White returning PR and KR before anybody since Tyrann, think about ODB Jr for a moment.

I rewatched the game and heard them saying that Fournette told LSU firing*the recruiting process that he wanted to return kicks so it would appear coaches are making good on promise.

After I rewatched the Jamal Adams block I googled it anticipating an article or two. I had no clue his Dad was all SEC Kentucky player who won a Super Bowl with the Giants. Is this Germans as hell? Guess I don't keep as well as I thought.

Please re-read my post...

I said I'm most comfortable with Tre White back there since TM. Never said I would rather have him back there over OBJ. OBJ was a great return man... But he did have some fumbles back there, including a game changing fumble vs UGA late in the game. When he fielded it cleanly, he was great. But he did have his fair share of muffed punts at LSU.

Quicker than MO. Closer to Beckwith. LF doesn't see the holes quick enough... Heck... TM took one KO finally and went further than LF has gone in 20 KO Returns...
