From the hay field parking lot to the mississippi river bridge took 1 hour 45 minutes. LSU/BR has to come up with something better.

That's what you get for leaving at halftime.

I kid, I kid.

When did you leave? I left the levee lot about an hour after the game and made it to the interstate with no traffic at all.

Yes traffic was slow moving. Left with 10 minutes left in 4th quarter. Took forever to reach I 10.

We stayed to the end. 10 minutes from CEBA to the College Drive on ramp.

Edit: I meant Stanford. I always get those two mixed up.

We parked in Levee lots on north side where the large sign said "Must exit north" from that lot. Of course the jackass cop made everyone go south.

traffic is usually pretty thick until about an hour after the game...then it magically opens up.

I left at 00:00. Stadium appeared empty. I guess everyone was sitting in traffic.

If that's the traffic plan for a close SEC game, we're screwed.

I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of the pass in 401 and walking out of the traffic.

Never I mean never park in the hayfields if you want to get home quickly. Total cluster in that area after a game.

I'm living up in in MS and I don't know how bad the flood damage was in every neighborhood, so bear with my questions. Is River Road completely torn up? That's the way we normally leave the Hayfield Lots. The cops weren't letting any traffic head that way. I didn't know if this was part of their "brilliant contra flow" plan or if River Road was messed up. What's the better way to head East to Hammond?

It's always been terrible. It's time LSU create a timely plan of exit. It can be done, but I doubt they will.
