I am now officially concerned about his storm that looks to be headed this way next week. I'm hoping I will be able to fly out on Friday.

I've already made backup plans to drive to Green Bay if necessary. Plan accordingly, fellas.

I love that one yellow line predicting the hurricane will not pass go, and will not collect 200 dollars and head directly to New Orleans because frick everything.

Strong high pressure on east coast will turn the system n/ne if it reaches eastern gulf. That is what a weather channel hurricane expert said this am. If he is wrong, get your plywood ready.

This is why I love opening the season in a neutral site location away from La. Every year I'm pulling up the weather 5x a day watching for pop up storms/Ts. Gets old

Hate to say it, been worried about this. Bad things come in three's...police, flood, hurricane. Let's pray not.

I feel like they just copy and paste this line on every projection of every storm heading towards the gulf.

Tropical Storm
It's not a tropical storm. It's not even a tropical depression. It's a tropical wave.

I agree...it's nothing yet...but they all start from nothing. I fly out Thursday evening. But if it's a tropical storm in the gulf, I can't in good conscience tell my wife...ill be back Sunday.

I get the pessimism given all that has happened in BR in the last couple months, but reading the thread title, coupled with the 30+ page thread on the OT, you would think LA is about to be hit by a CAT 5 storm by Saturday.

Why, because you don't like the University of Alabama's football team? Cool life.
