None of these teams have the recruiting base we have except maybe USA and NCAA sanctions are the main result of their demise

That's what I've been saying. If not for saban, Miles would be the goat. No one will come in here and best that.

This has turned into a shite show. I'm in support of miles because I love LSU. But I've seen this played out before and know these things don't go down smoothly.

Too much damage is done, and my faith in the AD is dwindling.

USC in cali, da U in Dade county, ND has Rudy.

But seriously, ND was pulling top 3 classes in under Charlie Weis.

USC didn't fire Pete Carroll. he's proven hard to replace.
yep. no one's quite figured out how to cheat like him. NOT EVEN BAMA.

without cheating, carroll is just another good college head coach

South Bend doesn't exactly pump out 5 star talent, maimi competes with 2 other instate major universities while having the worst facilities in NCAA. Like I said LSU >those

How in the hell is what happened pre 2011 relevant now? I guess everybody wants the Bobby Bowden of the 21st century.

When you drive a machine like these dominant programs and the wheels start coming off, you do not sit back and wait for the crash. You take corrective action to stay on the track.

So we need a change to stay good.

The proof lies with #3 on the list. They are still in that Top 5 rank despite many hit and miss corrections (several HC changes before they got back on track) with the present Coach.

So we need several changes to one day be good again.

You're giving conflicting messages.

Hard to believe.

I think you missed Boise St. w/ 55.

ETA: I was using 2010-2014 for full seasons.

Ha ha ha - You know when u wrote that no one means we need the same amount of mistakes one school made. But anyone needs change when things are clealy not working. There is no magic wand to know who or how many but its clear when what you got is no longer working. Fact of life. Work, age, retire. What do you want ? Les to drive us into oblivion trying the same stuff other teams have caught on to and now stop us convincingly each game unless we are playing junior colleges damned near at high school levels. You must not have watched LSU games this year. We struggled with almost every team and Fornette was the only bright spot. SURPRISE I am a Les Miles fan but his time has clearly come. He was not treated right this month but thats out of all out hands.

Miles has 25 wins in the last 3 years. I don't think any other coach in the country can match that success.

Miles has 52 wins in the last 5 years (2010-2014). I'd imagine there are no coaches outside of Saban who have more.

Fine. Also 100% true. So its a simple question and the reality of what is happening answers that question. Are the majority of fans (we really don't count) and the people in charge happy to allow the program to pile up wins with all the powder puff games yet get bashed and embarrassed in 90% of the SEC or power ranks school games each year as has started the last 3-4 years? Plus lose 50% bowl games and play a game like the shameful 1/9 game? I do not hate Les Miles. Just accepting what the AD apparently sees as reasons for change. If anyone thinks the fans caused this he would have been gone since about 2009 from all I have heard and read. Fans and internet chat talk do not run business.
