I personally had two east uppers I could not give away before kickoff (went in the garbage can). My brother found a south end zone tix for $10, had another friend who bought two on the west side line for $40, guy who sits behind me couldn't find anyone to even go with him (went alone and had 4 tickets).

The energy and enthusiasm in the fan base is being sucked out and while I know the LSU fanbase can be fair-weathered, the seat is getting hot for sure.

Actual attendance might be down, but paid isn't. And that's al the powers to be care about.

Everyone suspected what was coming. They weren't disappointed.

Incorrect. Donations (TAF), bowl tickets, road packages, etc. Enthusiasm in the fan base matters without question.

B.S. - They care about the concession sales big-time too. That's why Alleva has cried in the past about fans staying until the end.

I'm not pointing to attendance, I am pointing to the pulse of the fan base.

Dillon Gordon calls out LSU fans last night for leaving early....I've got news for Dillon, those werent LSU fans leaving early. Those were casual football fans who got free/cheap tickets because thousands of season ticket holders didn't go.

Outside of 2007 this has always been the case. Especially for late season games when a significant portion of your fan base starts to go hunting.

Adding 10,000 seats only means that there was over a 10% increase in supply to go along with a weakening demand.

This is just the beginning. We lost the next two weeks and things will get brutal.

Campus yesterday was pathetic. It was worse when I got to the game. Gobs of empty seats everywhere. Apparently the team and fans alike quit emotionally somewhere in the second half of the Alabama game.

This is spot on.
The TS atmosphere was pathetic and so was the energy from players.

We lose to bama and the season is over for our entire Football program and fan base. Just book it we will lose next week and maybe just maybe beat A&M because of the chavis shite and the are complete trash. Then we lose the bowl game. But in April some article will come out and say this is our year and all the expectations will come again and it will all start over.

The average Louisiana family should in no WAY be spending money on LSU season tickets. They are WAY overpriced, considering the product.
