LSU's winning percentage against ULL = 66%
Florida St.'s winning percentage against Florida = 60%

What's the Yankees win % vs the Red Sox?

I think the Louisiana/Louisiana State rivalry is just as intense as Yankees/Red Sox.

LSU fans with any kind of memory remember well that it was Robichaux, his staff, and the coach & staff of the ULLLL lady cajuns who were responsible for this series being shut down for a period of time. Whereas with a lot more history between the two teams, going back decades, LSU and the weenies have never stopped playing each other. And emotions in that always competitive series have at times reached a fever pitch. Yet it has never gotten out of hand like Robichaux let happen. For Skip to have shut down both the men's and ladies games, for several yrs, it had to be bad and it was. So take anything he says about LSU with a huge grain of salt.

Just said UL-L and LSU playing against each other is like Florida vs Florida St.
More like Florida St. playing Florida A + M.

The Ramblin Acadians are of little consequenses to us and are more like annoying mosquitoes than anything else. Once the game is over, they don't enter our thought processes, unlike their year long obsession of hating LSU.

Had nothing to do with the bat "slipping" out of Aaron Hill's hands, right? But sure, let's just blame the whole thing on ULL and their bleached hair.

You forgot to add how he "accidentally pointed" at the UL(L) dugout.

Both teams were being trash-dicks in those games FWIW.

Can someone make sure there is a link to UL at L's fan site, so we can all view and laugh after the game is over. TIA.

Most UL fans don't even recognize the history of Lsu baseball and some are so delusional they don't even know it exists.

That was Matt Heath, not Aaron Hill. And in nearly 25 regional + super regional hosting, LSU has never had a run in with another team like that before or since. The little guys from Lafayette wanted to "show the world that they wouldn't be pushed around". How'd that work out fo ya? One win away from Omaha and they were more worried about fighting than winning games. Two 10 run stompings and LSU was on to the Super Regionals.

You see, here lies the problem. One of your fellow fans basically pointed out the faults of BOTH teams, and yet you continue to attempt to defy his logic and blame it all on one side.

What an assinine statement. How old are you? I'm guessing that "most UL fans" that you know of are all under the age of 16? Because everyone I associate with, season ticket holders at UL for 20+ years know the full history of LSU baseball. It's impressive. Congratulations.

I hope we can make it to Omaha again one day, and I think this could be the year. But we all know how LSU has dominated the CWS over the years. No hiding that.

So what period are you in right now in your high school that you have time to post on a message board? Get your bull shite statements out of here. Let the grownups talk.
