Marcus Spears just put Lsu 3rd.....in the conference

If I'm reading this thing right, pre-season he had us 11-1:

LINK

Then again he used "logic" like this in picking us to beat Moo State:

quote:

Spears: “I think we’ve just become conscious to knowns, and with Mississippi State there’s too many unknowns.”

So, I'm not sure what exactly he's thinking.

His sports knowledge is about the same as the average fan, but he's developed a great TV persona.

I like TK but we've done nothing to this point to justify that ranking.

Do YOU think LSU should be #1??????

I mean, WTF, dukke v, let's go ahead and put 'em up there for now; there's plenty of time for somebody to knock them off the perch if they've got the want and the chest, right?

There have been very few stellar out of conference matchups this year so it's difficult to gauge who is a contender and who are the pretenders.

Unbalanced 8 linemen and a fullback. We could probably make some hay against anybody in the country with that formation. Pass like 12 times per game

That actually may not be a bad idea.

I ne'er thought I'd say this, but if the receivers and defense play to their abilities LSU is #1

He must not have watched last 2 games

Maybe he watched Ohio state struggle with everybody they have played. Maybe he watched TCU give up 1000 points to texas tech. Maybe he watch Bama get gang raped by Ole miss. Maybe he watch georgia quit against bama. Maybe he watch Ole piss get steamrolled by florida. Maybe he knows baylor gonna baylor. Maybe he knows we got buga and everybody else don't. Obviously you don't spend your whole saturday watching football like me and Tony because you don't know shite. We definitely the best team in the country.

Cowherd said Bama is going to destroy LSU because of LSU's inability to pass the ball.

No one is the number 1 team right now. All teams have looked good/great at times, and not so good at others.

Pretty much, although Utah has seriously impressed.
