Lee CLEARLY outplayed Jefferson in the Tennessee and Florida games, and that was after 4 other bad games from Jefferson

and yet the staff knew that Lee was one good pop away from mentally lapsing back to his bad habits. At least JJ could make a play or two with his feet, and would still compete after getting hit a couple of times. Lee's history shows his best moments are in relief situations.

Ok so this source collects autographs and that qualifies him as an expert?

He coordinates and handles many aspects of the signings. He is not just a collector.

So much for the good friend angle. You would think if this source had such hot information and you being a good friend that he would have contacted you immediately.

I've been pretty busy for the last few weeks and havent had a chance to go visit.

quote:

How many days have they worked out? When? Where? Just tell us. Prove it to us, that's all.

Now you're just trying too hard. I can't tell you what days they worked together, when they worked together, or what kind of toilet paper they like to use...but I believe my friend. He wouldn't make stuff up just to have a story to tell. Which is why I said fwiw, you can believe it or not. Makes no difference to me. Some readers of the rant may like to see it, while others don't. It's clear that you fall into the latter of the two...no need to continue being an arse about it.

So continue with sub-par play because Lee might fall apart?

I think that Miles stuck with JJ because he knows more about football and about these two young men and about his team than I do. Or that you do for that matter. So I trust his judgment.

Generally speaking the two of them have different but complimentary styles. The result show that Miles made a pretty darn good decision.

No man, I'm saying that in looking back at the 2010 season I don't see that Miles did stick with JJ. shite the minute Miles thought his season was in jeopardy, he yanked JJ and relied heavily on JL in very crucial situations. We did not see that in 09 so to me Miles made his adjustments because he knew we were not going to have an 11 win season solely relying on JJ.

Both statements mean the same thing

interesting, back in the olden days when I was in school 'might' and 'would' meant different things...

the point being they wanted to use Lee in spots but not risk losing him mentally for the rest of the season like in 08. They needed him and JJ at times to squeeze out the record they did. It wasn't an optimal situation either way, but JJ starting and Lee in relief was the best option.

You didnt say would

Either way, assuming Lee would just fall apart if he got hit is stupid considering how well he played in those 2 games

Disagree... I believe last year it did not matter who the QB was... LSU would have had the same record... Defense/ST was nasty until Ole Miss/Arkansas game

what. Do you remember we were on the 40 tied with auburn with like 5 minutes to go. I wonder what we did. 3 and out so many more instances. A normal QB would have changed things drastically.

I wanna know if there is any action going on about who takes the first snap in the Oregon game. I wanna make some money off all you people who think Mett takes the first snap of the season.

I remember $Cam kneeling at the 7(?) with secs to go.

LSU DC had no answer for the AU O in that game.
Ditto Nicky when Gus turned it on, if it makes you feel better.

i don't care who you are you don't question Lee's competitiveness. all he does is compete.

Also said that he told Miles 14 times last season that he was just "giving" JJ the ball and that he hadn't earned it.

If this did happen, I find it interesting given the fact that Toliver had his own issues this past season (minus the cotton bowl). Throwing stones in a glass house is bad enough but 14 times?

I'm said I am skeptical, and the more you continue the greater my doubts grow.

I have a hard time putting any credence on a,"My brother-in-laws best friend's girl friend's hairdresser's yard man's daughter's piano teacher told me that..........."

Before you spread rumors you might want to name sources and check them out.
