I sure as frick don't talk about physics and engineering degrees with women. In my experience that has been the least interesting topic across the board for chicks. I dropped that line of discussion a long, long time ago.

No...the problem is that you want to live in the past. Believe it or not but you have to look at a successful football program like running a business. Yeah, Les has been successful in the past. He even won a NC 7 years ago.

While a coaching change is clearly nothing more than a roll of the dice, and there is no guarantee of success, the status quo under Les at this point is mediocrity. I'd rather move on now, with a coach that has a mind for the modern football game, than continue down a path with Les that results in mediocrity.

It was never close because we had a true freshman qb starting his first game, on the road, against an SEC team that played for the NC last year and looks to be headed back there again. We are young, we are going to lose games this year. And some of them may be ugly. This is our first down year in a long time, go ask Tenn and Kentucky how they felt the past 10 years, starting every damn season knowing they were going to get trucked. Success has spoiled this fanbase, you expect to field a superior team every single year. Les Miles recruiting the top talent in the nation led to record amounts of these kids being drafted. We have new talent in place now but they are young, its gonna take time.

Miles isn't winning another NC at LSU

You have Buga Nation on your pic, let me ask you, why do you think Fournette decided to choose LSU? He could have went anywhere in the nation.

If you want to bore the frick out of me, talk about engineering.

Although I do have a thing for engineers lately. They are usually hot as long as they don't open their mouth.

And frick physics. That's the only class that I made less than an A (I made a B) in college.

We won one between 1959 and 2006. Weve played for 2 between 2007 and 2014. History tells me we may never win another in my lifetime, doesnt matter who the coach is.

The problem I have is that Les has proved he can play for a title every 4 years. That has been proved. Im not ready to blow the damn thing up when we have this class, like 2009, as our core group to take us there next year or in 2016. we need to build upon this class, like we did with 2009 and make a run.

You fire Les, bring in a new coach to recruit for 1 month. Dont forget our coaches have been in these kids living rooms selling LSU for 3 years now. Not somebody else. The risk of letting him go now is way more than letting him ride his contract out.

We will not have a good recruiting class in 2015 if we fire the head coach. The coaches are on the road recruiting for LSU as we speak. You blow the staff up and every one else is recruiting these kids while LSU is scrambling to find a coach.

If this new coach doesnt turn it around next season, what happens to the loaded 2016? We get raided again and probably by Les and Frank Wilson at another program.

They could have done that in tuscaloosa. Besides we play 5 games out of the state of Louisiana, so what does him being from Louisiana have to do with them watching every game in person? If they can watch every LSu game in person, they can watch every UT game or every bama game in person.

His family could have watched him play every game at Bama as well. Or a Texas. He didn't choose LSU simply for that reason.
None of these kids who are top recruits in the nation at their positions are going to commit to a school if they don't believe they cant win a NC there.

That's yall's problem, you let that game eat at you, you can't function without having it as a crutch.

its not a crutch, its a reality, since that game LSU is 24-8 and 11-7 in the SEC and those numbers are going to look much worse by seasons end.

LSU is able to pull in top recruits year after year after year

So LSU is getting all this top talent, what is there to show for it?

This season will make 7 seasons since the BCS Championship and the only hardware is one SEC championsip in those seasons

also, LSU hasnt won a BCS bowl in 7 seasons either.

If LSU is getting all this talent, someone must be to blame for the constant underachievement, who is it? there is always an excuse, its always wait till this season, or that season, but it never gets here.

Its constant middle of the road results and he is getting paid elite dollars to do it. Dude is living off of a 2 loss National Championship that was 7 years ago.

Holy christ, a reasonable, thought-out response.

I hear what you're saying, and to an extent I even agree. I am not advocating for Les to be fired immediately, I'd like to see if we can be even competitive in an SEC game this year.

However, I would like to see him take the reins off of his offense and move into this century. Hell, even Nick Saban allowed a change to the offense in order to better suit his players (read: QB). Cam Cameron has all of the experience in the world and I think definitely had a huge impact on the success we had last year with Mett but I'm not sold on him as a college OC.
