How do YOU know that what TM7 is doing IS part of the system? He's they exact type of player that you give some free reign too. .

because I have seen him go for the BIG play and miss a tackle and allow YACs because of it.

he showed it to me.

sometimes you must, because if he misses with the "home run", the result will be a "strike out".

we do not always need a "home run"

hold back does not equal not playing within the sys.
you simply put the player with that ability in a position to make plays without being vulnerable.

TM7 is playing just fine. Just because the announcers aren't calling his name every 2 seconds does not mean he is not doing work. That little sucker is all over the field!

This is either an indictment where we thought Simon's CB ability

I have wondered about this. I was hoping he would be our big, physical CB when Mo went off to play on Sundays. I didn't notice he was playing badly, but admit I haven't paid that close attention specifically to him.

Is he getting fatigued? Or did teams figure him out? Or is miles not using him the same? He hasn't been making the "game changing" plays these past few games.... Thoughts?

i think he's the same player. i think teams are staying away from him more, accounting for him more, opening things up for other players like brooks, reid, ect. Ole miss attacked simon a lot last game.

Is he getting fatigued?
Yes. That is why they just named him a finalist for a national award.

How do YOU know that that's NOT the system? TM7 is a player you build around. You make your system include his free reign. Also, you can't make the big play unless you're constantly trying to.

This is not the type of defense that you have to "play scared" with in regards to the big play. I'm glad Chavis is in control and not your dumb arse.

We need more of this thread.

TM feeds off of hate, doubt and disrespect.

You guys are right, Mathieu is lazy and washed up. The other teams have obviously figured him out and easily neutralized him as a threat.

He has been saving it for the next three games. Gunna have six turnovers. And 4 TDS.

everyone has been acting like he has been having bad games. He just wasn't making those crazy plays every game. It's almost impossible to have games like that each and every night.
