TJ says
We had good contributions from everybody
We had a lot of turnovers but I want to credit their defense
The job 'dre did on defense was exceptional
We wanted to get the ball to high post
We had size advantage and we did a good job of going to them

Andre Stringer has really improved his defense since he came back, credit to him. Also, I like that he's not settling for the 27 foot 3 pointers. He's actually driving into the lane.

All this team needed was some confidence.
Sometimes that goes a long way.

They aren't playing that much better than they were, just playing lesser competition, and getting the moderately tough games at home

Moo State wasn't lesser competition..Give credit where credit is due.

I like the fact LSU seems to be positive everytime I come here.

The curse is over. I'm calling it.

And their first 7 games were tougher than anyone elses in the conference. I think there record is about where most would have predicted had they realistically gone game-by-game before conference play started.

I actually thought we played well in the second half. Aside from the first 5 minutes and last 1 minute of the first half, I thought we played brually bad. Playing for 40 minutes, or even 30 has been an issue with this team all year.

They are missing a scorer who can just flat hit a shot whenever we need him to. But as far as I've heard Morgan can certainly be that guy next year

I've had more than one person who I respect say they thing Morgan and not Gathers is the best player in the state.

Nothing but good things from folks who've seen Morgan play.

I'd sure have liked to have gotten both though.

Same, but I haven't given up hope on Gathers pulling a late switch if we end the season well (might be a pipe dream, but I'll hold on to it until he signs).

Heard from a program insider it's not over, but after all that's been said I find that hard to fathom.

No, it wasn't, but it was like I mentioned, a moderately tougher game at home. It was a pretty good team...not a kentucky type team. As I've said, they are catching the easier part of their schedule. They'll lose another game before season's end. But they are improved and are an average to slightly above average SEC team.

Morgan
Gathers
Coleman
Hammink

Legit SEC title contender next year

If only I weren't dreaming...even though Gathers is the only one on the list who we are apparently behind the eight ball on.

PG: Hickey
SG: Stringer
SF: Turner
PF: O'Bryant
C: Hamilton

Bench: Gathers, Morgan, Hammink, Coleman, Ludwig, Isaac, Courtney

Most complete team at LSU in my lifetime without question. Legitimate depth and an experienced, talented starting five.

Moo State is a potential Sweet 16 team so your cred is shot with that statement.

I think Coleman starts, if signed. Stringer off the bench. I wouldn't put Gathers in any projected lineup. That ship has sailed.

I think at least one post player will be signed, likely a juco.

Do any of you think the SG from McKinley signs with LSU.

Nobody else is a Kentucky type team. They are to college basketball what Bama and we were to college football this year.
