Counter prediction: Finley will never start a game at LSU.

Brennan will be very solid for two years, then Johnson/Williams/Nussmeier will take over in 2022.

He looked very good throwing to receivers. He has a great arm. He has a great chance to start one day.

After watching the drills online, he looks like he has major issues with accuracy.

In short, I didn't see anyone that impressed besides MB.

For all who aren't aware semjackass (BRAVEHEAT) is a racist POS who believes all black QBs are glorified running backs who don't possess "Quick Information Processing Skills and Defense Reading Ability". "Athleticism" is his racist dog whistle for black DT QB. He previously used the name BRAVEHEAT, who was so blatently racist, he was banned.

Also, like his alter BRAVEHEAT, he doesn't believe blacks have the "Quick Information Processing Skills" to be successful offensive linemen. They both recommend LSU only recruit "up north" offensive linemen. Which was a dead give away he and BRAVEHEAT are one and the same unique racist mental retard.

Like JaMarcus ???
the one with a 70 yard arm but if you put 3 barns at that distance he could not tell you which he was going to hit.

I have been saying it since he signed. He is going to be too tall. I have watched dozens of 6'6+ guys sign all over and it is very rare that they ever work out. It is a fact. Everyone brushes it off, but no one can counter it with any evidence. Do people really think he's going to make it as a 6'8 QB?

Also, it is a double standard that people can doubt a guy for being too short. When tons of sub 6'0ish QBs have been great. But you can't call a guy too tall. When there have been maybe 3 great QBs all time that were 6'7 or taller. That makes no sense..

He is listed at 6’6” by LSU and 247 from an Opening measurement. If you need to make stuff up to make your point it’s probably not a very good one.

And there have been plenty of 6’6 QBs that have started in the NFL, much less gotten playing time in college.

JR could not read the defense, it took him forever to figure where to go with the ball.

Are you saying that I am making his height up? It was listed everywhere that he is 6'7 and growing. This is from KPLC (LINK /)

"When you’re 6'7? QB, you kind of stand out, even on a campus as big as LSU. Something Finley is adjusting to quickly."

That was an article written on 2/05/20. Are you saying I made it up?

No, there haven't. That is my whole point. There have only been 6 QBs in NFL history that are 6'7 or over (LINK ). Honestly, none of them were really any good.

How many 6'6" guys have you seen that were great sprinters?
Manute Bol?
Maybe the great athletes over 6'6" don't play football but choose basketball

Have you seen his footwork on many of the drills? Footwork is everything. That’s what really set Joe Burrow apart was his ability to produce pro level footwork inside and outside the pocket every snap. It affects power and accuracy.

Side note...Sunshine over there at Clemson is 6'6 and he is doing just fine from the QB position and will likely be #1 overall next year. If you can play you can play. Being too short or too tall has shite to do with it anymore.

I’ll go with what the school is saying (and 247 via the opening) which is 6’6”. And LSU continually lists players larger than they are based off of combine measurements. You are comparing to NFL heights, which is a) a more trustworthy number and b) Professional players. He will never be asked to be a professional player at LSU.

And besides, I don’t think one inch is going to make your argument any better. Being 1-2 inches too tall is not going to be what holds this kid back from success. That is a downright silly position to take.
