I said based on the opinions of 2 guys at the practices, he is in line to be our number 2 QB. Keep in mind, our number 2. Is between 2 true freshman. Yikes.

He seemed better in the drills throwing to receivers than in the drill throwing to the net. JMO

I always see a lot of Jamarcus comparisons to Finley, but JR was in a much different spot as a Freshmen with his mechanics. As big as he was, everything was quiet. Finley has a lot of moving parts, starting with his feet.

Spot on

I watched him play against Mandeville last year and although he threw for 450+ yards in that game , he was the second best QB that afternoon. Tott from Mandeville was much better on a gimpy ankle

People need to slow their roll on Finley. He has tremendous physical tools but he is very much a work in progress.

Neither freshman is going to be ready to play this year . Hopefully we won’t find out that this opinion is true .

could see him developed in 2 years as a Cardale Jones type of guy. Much improved mechanics and using his size how he's supposed to.

TJ will not be the #2, Max Johnson will be the #2. TJ has arm talent and he's a big boy. Waaaay more to playing QB than just those two things... Max Johnson is waaaay further along and youll see that in the spring game... the Big Question is Where is Peter Parrish?

Did you watch ANY of the QB reps? You could not be more wrong.

Finley was not accurate in high school. I don't know why people think that he will start being an accurate passer now. I've been trying to tell the recruiting board this for over two years.

Ding ding ding. Both have a lot of work to do before they are ready to start. Both have tons of potential but need to develop. And that’s ok. They are freshmen

Hell no he won't. He will be at least 3rd behind Max Johnson behind brennan. He won't ever start a game for LSU unless we have severe injuries.

He may end up LSU starter one day. With about 4 years to develop. The question is whether he and LSU are patient enough to allow him to develop. Right now he looks like he's never going to sniff the field here.

Either this is wishful thinking or you're watching a different video than I did. His footwork is terrible on the video I saw. Also, how do you know about his accuracy? And the only thing that reminds me of Jamarcus is that he is black!

TJ Finley

is he #11?

the footwork clip where they throw at a target, he was amazingly inaccurate. Like not even close. He was by far the most inaccurate of the group of 5 qbs
