All he said is Miles said the staff would remain as is, per someone in the LSU office. Miles has bs'd us before. Lets just wait and see.

Miles also told us that this years offensive line was going to be the best he's ever had at LSU.

Really couldn't follow all those paragraphs and stuff, could you guys? Anyway, separate and distinct source from all that north Louisiana stuff, it looks like it is going to happen and on the big guys terms, not yours. He always takes care of his coaches first. If there is a place to go (and there is) and he is wanted there, then this will happen....on Les' terms, not anyone elses. This is why assistant coaches love to coach with LM. Unlike many in today's world, he is a man of honor, repect and loyalty.
That's the way it should be. That decision is Les Miles alone. He knows there is a problem, and it's his job to fix it. I believe he can do it without help from the rant, etc.

do you think losing CJ is THAT big of a deal? Sure its a loss, but its not like the guy is all world. He had a couple good games and a bunch of meh games. He wouldn't be a first day NFL pick this year.

It really won't be that big of a hit financially to fire Crowton. So this statement is likely BS.

I dunno. Some were saying it was going to cost between 800k and a mill, and with having to pay a new OC, Alleva didn't want to do it. Belowpar was one source on this, and he's usually correct, despite his rabid detractors.

Yes. If he stays, he's an All-American next season.

he has a lot of improvement to make if that is so. I'd like to see him in that LB spot Coleman filled last year. He plays much better closer to the LOS

He played the last few games with a gimpy shoulder. He still hit like an NFL safety. He hits so hard sometimes it's scary.....

he can definitely apply the wood, but he takes bad angles in run support sometimes and I'm not exactly confident in his defending the pass. Look how much better Coleman played at LB. I think CJ could have that type of improvement and maybe better.

Well maybe Crowton could defy his usual trend and show some improvement. WHO knows next year we might rank in the 90's in offensive production as opposed the bottom 110's..heck that could equal a 20% improvement...No telling what type of raise he will get with an offense that can score 12pts a game as opposed to 10pts

As I stated in another thread...his initial conclusion was right....change coming. BUT his details are all wrong. There is no way any of these guys get involved in those decisions except on the hind end after the HC has made up his mind. This is being done on Miles terms and no ones elses....that way, no buyout, me thinks.
Conclusion was right, the way its getting there is wrong. Just wait. Be patient.

CJ is a damn good safety, its a rant myth that he can't play the position and would be a better LB.

He's a NFL caliber safety.
