re: NEW African Resturant in BR
NEW African Resturant in BR I'm curious, but does it seem clean? That part of town isn't really something I think of when I think of legit dining. A lot of half-assed, rigged up businesses.. Is it Ethiopian? African culture confuses me because it seems like there would be more distinctio...

Look, I understand anyone's desire for privacy. But, Goddamnit, where do you live? And, how old are you? That tells me something about who is speaking. Is there a reason for withholding this basic information? If so, educate me. Seriously....
When you were growing up, did your family have dinner as a group at a table? Or was it at different times, and people eating on the sofa? If you're a parent or live with your family, do you make a point to have family dinner and discussions?
Afreaux, I'm old. My family had dinner (...
Golden Hushpuppy has gone out of business.
Damn! Apparently not too many people knew it was the best place to eat. Let me add: One of the really interesting things about this board is the diversity of opinion. It is seriously interesting to see different opinions of the same restau...

Amite has been consistently deep into the playoffs. So has Independence and Kentwood. Salmen has a couple of titles. And, Franklinton was state runner up this past year. I understand that your impression is formed by Ponchatoula and Hammond. But, if we're talking talent, you should consider b...

re: Billy Cannon,,,
He would have left Trindon in the dust. That should tell you all you need to know.
Not true. Trinton is faster. Trinton ran 10 flat in the 100 meters. Cannon ran 9.4 for 100 yards. At that time, the world record for the 100 yard dash was 9.3. Cannon won the SEC 100 yard dash, AND t...

I think I did my taxes myself, because that's what everyone did in the late '60's. I had a...
if you are a coach at thibodeaux, how could you not help convince him?
Good Grief!! Give him a BREAK. If he's any kind of a decent coach, he's for the best interests of his player. Period. And, he HAS to give the kid space to make HIS decision. And, that's what it is, HIS decision. B...
I just updated Dandy Don, and he's taken Copeland off. He had the time of 8:05. I never looked at Rivals, so Don was my only confirming source. ETA - Don still lists him as a commitment, just took the purple check and time off...
I just saw that too. So, we don't know....
