We've been playing that for 4 weeks now fwiw, but people seem to not care unless we do something they don't like. That is an awesome song though!

The Golden Band from Tigerland is a living legend and part of the LSU tradition way before tailgating and message boards. Everyone needs to drop back and consider the students and all the hard work that they put in for these half-time shows. Everything that they do is appreciated and not to be criticized unless you think that you can do better!

I'm not too big a fan of this one. I like Jurassic Park's theme and all, but I don't really find it to garner much excitement from the crowd. Additionally, if you play it, cut it off before the Aladdin song starts.
Points off for the stupid Guitar Hero tribute, though Dance the Night Away sounded pretty good.
I can also say I really dug "Take on Me" when yall played it in the stands, Don't think I ever heard Tiger Band play that one before.

The only reason the one guy got the loudest cheers was because he smashed the guitar (however unsuccessfully, the puss) at the end.

When they first say the was going to play guitar hero, I really thought they was going to set up the game on the Jumbotron like they do on Madden Nation on ESPN. When they started to basically do an air guitar it was a major clusterfrick.

I can't believe FW and LM actually allowed this to take place on the field. Back in my TB days, the entire Drumline would have boycotted, refused to play and walked off the field instead of taking part in that embarrassing nonsense........

I hated that he got so many cheers for trying to smash the guitar. It was obviously the route to go, and I was very surprise the other guy didn't do it. I was hoping both of them would be booed off the field. Not that it would have ever happened, but if the entire student section went dead silent for both of them, that would have been the best response.

We've been booed before. We all absolutely hated it and warned the staff that it would be a disaster, but we played Macarena directly to the student section in 1997. They booed loudly and we loved it. We would have booed ourselves if we could have. Linda tried to play it off the next week, but deep down, she knew she messed up.
