Does TS have a really good draining system to keep the surface playable or do you think the field will be covered
with a tarp during issac?

i hope the field is playable Sat. to see the new passing game without the field being sloppy.

I'm more curious if the game will even be played if the storm hits Louisiana dead on Friday...

Supposedly the system they installed after the 2004 season can handle extraordinary amounts of rain. I don't think we'll see field conditions like the Oregon State game as much anymore. But yes, I am sure they'll make some attempt to keep the field intact in the event of a hurricane.

It's coming Tuesday. Not Friday. Friday will be in northern Arkansas.

Rain isn't the worry for Saturday.

It's will we have power and will Tiger Stadium be playable?

Gustav ripped signage off the stadium and scattered it onto the field and did some damage to the west side of the stadium.

Not a lot of crown but a very good drainage system that allows water to penetrate sod and be pulled away. It doesn't stand and puddle as it did years ago.

That's also what I wouldn't want to see. With all of the recent
additions to the stadium such as the letters and windows, I don't want to see stadium damage

The project map on Weather.com shows through Friday, but you are correct. Oops.
