20 million? Do you have any idea how much the expansion costs? It's a lot more than 20 million. More like 80.
No just what someone said on here yesterday. Might as well make it look nice if you are going to spend 80 million though.

I hate to keep bringing this shite up but I just can't, for the life me, see how these could possibly be the same color no matter the sunlight. The expansion looks to be closer to the color of the columns.

yeah its not the same color to me despite sunlight. its not even the same finish.

Why would you question the difference in color between these pics. They're literally from the same side of the stadium...the north end.
The first pic shows the east end of the Dr. Martin J. Broussard Athletic Training Facility. The second pic shows the front.
If anything, it's a visual demonstration of how much sunlight appears to change the color. The first pic is in shade, the second in full sunlight.

He wasn't. The colors aren't the same though. It sucks they aren't but it's just the way it is.

I'll wait until I see it in person but it doesn't seem to be the same color. If it turns out to be different colors that would be ridiculous.

They're exactly the same. The only difference is the light.
Here's the first pic...
Here's a pic of the north end by the Lawton Room, which is on the west side of the Dr. Martin J. Broussard Athletic Training Facility...
...same color.

Typically, when I build a house, the last thing I do is apply paint.
Just sayin.
Just sayin.

Earlier in the thread, I provided these pics...
North end zone looking towards west upper deck...
North end zone looking towards east upper deck...
Same color. Can we put this to rest now?

For those unfamiliar with the layout of the north end of Tiger Stadium, here's an old pic from the South Carolina fans, pre-expansion of the SEZ...

Good lord the East side is turrible

Good Lord.
I was trying to show 2 different versions of the new skim coat on the NEZ in the sunlight and the shade. Either way, neither of them seem to match up with that coating the SEZ is getting.

Ok, I missed that. My apologies.

While I wouldn't put it past either LSU or TAF to do that, I'm fully expecting the colors to align all around.
At least eventually...

I actually prefer the look of the east side....
...to the west side...
Just me, I guess.

Not bad when you consider Rant architect's said it couldn't be done just a few years ago. I remember they said it would go all the way to the street and crazy arse rants on how they did the math.

Well, in their defense it's pretty damn close to the street.
